I am definitely going to buy that, looks like a huge improvement from the second one.
:o
cool trailer
I see that someone is very interested hmm ^_^
Wowee. So many options. Do I take the vent? Do I take the door? Do I stab everything? Do I stab nothing? Do I shoot everything? Do I do a little dance then do nothing? Do I do a little turn on the catwalk? Do I bake a cake for a guard, leave it in an enticing location, wait for him to take the bait, then detonate the cake while putting together a jigsaw puzzle?
I love it.

So do we :), I just hope it has an editor like in Deus Ex 1, and a lot of console commands :) I had so much making my own lil cool base ^_^ Military Bots everywhere O o
Weââ,¬â,,¢ll see. I read somewhere the team thatââ,¬â,,¢s working on it didnââ,¬â,,¢t do anything involving the first Deus Ex. So they donââ,¬â,,¢t have any experience with it. I guess Iââ,¬â,,¢ll wait and see.
I absolutely loved the first one. DE2 was just all right.
DE2 has it's great moments, I loved the way you can get the very most powerful BM biomods and your missions are super easy then, as well as the Biomods weren't so bad either, I really had good times with the EMP melee weapons, as well as the Neural Interface and Bot Domination.
The weapons were sucky, I passed mostly using Melee weapons, and the same ballistics was just lazy, due to the fact that DE1 had all sorts of ammo which was really fun.
Removal of Skills and Health proportions was a huge mistake, it brought so much depth into it, and you really felt like an agent with a certain skill.
The bots in DE1 just ruled, I mean comparison to DE2 they were awesome!
Levels did get a bit boring once you play them a lot, and the bugs in DE1 are also hilarious. Hacking ATMs, manually inputing keypad codes, manually writing the Username and Password was also quite realistic.
And overall, I think they are both good, some have downsides some have upsides, like Ragdoll physics and no Ragdoll Physics.
But will there be bombs???
Well in trailer it showed a move where you spin and you throw bombs in a 360 spin, so I am assuming there will be. There was an EMP Grenade detonated at the camera in the trailer as well. If you notice you will be able to somehow combine some weapons with some gadgets, I assume they will probably do that with the hand explosives, but I am not really sure, but the melee kills look really awesome.
Every one knows the only TRUE way to get through Deus Ex is by not killing anyone.
Guns are for the weak. I put all my money on the Tranq Bow. (No, I don't count that as a gun)
Aaaah, the good memories of Tranq darts <3
Don't forget the Stun Prod :) Get those MIB in a head with 1 shot :P
On a side note. I'm very impressed with the visuals. I don't know what it is... but the last time I was impressed randomly with graphics like this is when I played RE5. Having all the fabric textures in the shirts and whatnot just kinda blew me away.
Perhaps I just don't pay attention enough to modern games though. (Or maybe it's because I'm mainly playing older games at the moment)

^^
Has anyone noticed the FOV of the Silenced Pistol? It looks unnatural? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Hmmm?
Short answer, Hell Yeah.
Perhaps the phrase "Ninja Shepard" would suffice.
