Agent, I am sure Crysis 2 will be fun to you, it's your favorite style, Linear gameplay, 1 way paths, run and gun, crappy interactions, crappy graphics. Everything in a neat package that has your name on it :)

And to completely do a 180* and re-hijack your thread, I will continue the Crysis 2 discussion by saying that, in fact, Crysis 2 is a 'good' game. I was a huge fan of the first and, due to the neutering of the gameplay, I decided to just rent it on 360. It's an enjoyable game with some interesting imagery (the visuals are quite impressive for a console game), but the lack of true complex physics and wide open levels restricts its potential.

i haven't tried any of these new games you guys are talking about....haven't tried any games actually for a while o.O
was checking out AC3 multiplayer but i think i would get bored of that after a while jumping/running around one shotting people. that target radar is meh too :-\ - there are some tricks and such though.

If you seriously think that Crysis is a good game, then you are foolish player.
Crysis 2 is not even used for graphic card benchmarks that's a fail number 1.
Crysis and Crysis Warhead are, that shows that it's far more demanding on graphics.
I can run Crysis 2 with max settings and still get 60 FPS, where as I doubt I would have such performance with Warhead or Crysis.
The gameplay is linear, and boring as Zedblade stated before even he said the only thing was good was UI, and really it was, it's not worth the money. If you got it as a gift from a friend, be happy. If you spent 50$/£ on it, well then....it's a terrible loss.
I also got AC3, I was so dissapointed that it wasn't so easy to jump :D From AC2 and AC1 it was all done automatically. NOTE: I was only dissapointed for the moment, but the fact that you get an option to jump yourself is great, just need time to get used to it.
