Title: SLI Question regarding models of a specific Release of nvidia card.
Post by: nubishdubishbone on August 07, 2012, 03:32:42 PM
Hi all, I have: EVGA 015-P3-1480-AR GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card.

I am wondering, since this model is discontinued, can i use in SLI with it: EVGA 015-P3-1480-KR GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card.

There is no difference in memory or clock or RAMDAC or any other spec, so i wonder if i can substitute the KR for the AR that i already have, will this work?

I'd say yes. Looks like a production batch number, but I'm not sure.
