Title: Video editing software
Post by: frvge on June 28, 2013, 08:05:42 PM
Which movie editing software is in your opinion best? I need: fades in audio and video, separate video and audio track and layers/overlays. :)

Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9 Software is what I recommend, and that's what I use after I've used Windows Movie Maker. If you guys want to have something a little more "advance" try Sony Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere.
Links for them on amazon:

I'd go for Premiere Pro. It's much more reliable than Vegas, it works faster, and although it's slightly more complicated, the skills you gain are much more transferable.

Thanks all!  I tried Blender because it's free, but couldn't get the audio and video tracks separated :( I'll try one of the others later.
