Hi - I'm a new budding illustrator willing to help out as much as I can. (Still in Art school though, so once in a while I'll be posting sketches of concepts of moves so that we may visualize better our ideas brought upon by the public, fans, and devs.)
Anyhow - is the 3 gadget frag for spies still in? is it considered fair? will it be balanced?
Opinions - opinions!!
Anyways - I'm new here - a fellow console gamer (but hopefully I will make enough cheese in my pockets to buy a PC powerful enough to play this!!)
BTW - have you guys already developed skins for the spies? new concepts for the guns? I'm yer huckleberry - I still like the old designs, anyways.
Peace out.
The spy and merc model are completed, check them out in the Presentation Forum.
When you say tripple nading, I'm assuming you mean shooting them in quick succession. I believe that tripple nading will be allowed. My opinion? It's absolutely fair. It's easy to get out of, mercs aren't completely screwed by it, and it's a quick way of wasting grenades without even realizing it.
well.umm...cool?
But is it confirmed that this "technique" is in?
Depends on wether the delay between shooting nades is like in CT, where you can't shoot grenade of the same type 2 s after the previous, but you can shoot other nades freely, or that the delay would apply for all nades shot, which would make the game a _bit_ less aggro.

the delay should be lifted as soon as the grenade hits the floor.
No. It should be the same and apply to all types of grenades, because what happens now is that the gun acts like it has 3 seperate launchers attached, not one.
there should be no delay at all, as spamming isn't effective in most situations anyways.
triple nades are balanced because you only have one gadget slot left, so you either can take sticky cams OR a recon tool (hbs/bullets) which is quite a heavy restriction.

If there's no side grab, I dont' see triple nading being that powerful. Most of the problem wtih triplenades were that you would back into a wall and then get side grabbed.
there will be no restriction to the gadget choices for the player.
From my experience, spy teams that won needed a lot more then just 3x nadding. Also, 2x nadding is more effective when the is flash dropped instead of shot.

So true (unless the flash is shot straight to the head but you need to make a perfect shot for that)
