I'm afraid our fanbase is too small. Though, perhaps they also look at stuff other than votes, who knows.
Perhaps they look at votes cast per game (in our case UT3) and see how many many percent of the votes went to us (there are 3 other mods for UT3 nominated as well). I think it will be something like this. They probably have some kind of formula where its also possible for games that have a small number of players to win (eg. Doom II).

Professional game reviewers and stuff checking out each mod and rating it.
Then, at 25th and 26th of January, the winners in the Public and Press categories are announced.
Shouldn't you put in some more eyecandy in the ModDB-page to plessure the reviewers?
Or, post some eyecandy here. You still haven't convinced me to vote or a lot of other people. So, post it here, right now. ;D JK I forgot I registered there, it would be a wise decision to post whatever you got there now right?

also note that with the completely different perspective i have on shooter games , i know a hell of alot of gamers who love tactical team play .
i dont expect an ass kiss or huggie like vega your cuppie cake , but keep up the good work and in the end i will give my friends an honest review of what you are trying to accomplish and links to the site for download in the future . : ) happy holidays all .

Now the press and editors select their top-5 games. Results will be reveiled the 29th.
Why dont you guys add new stuff. You surely have more than you revealed.
Things were in the pipeline, but we didn't want the ModDB to completely change our release-schedule. Most things released for ModDB were specially made for that.
What is there to check out? About 8 models and thats it?
Why do they need professional reviewers for that?
Good question. I could tell, just by looking at them. I'm not a pro. Whichever models are the highest quality, that's it.
