Hey can you do decorative props?
like this?

High poly : polycount should be under the 300.000.
If you can use zbrush it would be awesome.

Hi can you please show us that you are able to do that.

Does this look good enough...Polycount exceeded a little bit(hopefully it won't matter since it will only be used for generating normal map? ???)   :)

You should add volume , if you look carefully it isn't flat.
The surface is elevated , look at how light interacts with it surface.

like this , you see what I mean?
http://sebleg.free.fr/2006/rendu31.jpg

if I wanted a normal from that picture I wouldn't sculp it.
I would have used nvidia filter or crazy bump.
understand what I am explaining to you.

The picture has alot of dents and it isn't perfect.
make it perfect and clean , turn into a artwork.

About the polycount : I see your machine can handle more then 300.000 polygons.
Let's say : there is no polycount limit , as long you're machine can handle it.

You are right man.I tried to fix it however as I mentioned before that i am not an expert of using z-brush.
I have only used it a few times.Let me know what you think

hey, thats good :D

could you texture it mayhap?

It would be a little hard to UV map it considering the mesh is quite dense :-[

just do a planar map?

Why texturing the high poly instead of baking a normal map and doing it on the low poly?

because there is no low poly?!

Oh yea because it's very difficult to create an 8 sided cillinder and UV it...

yeah i was wondering about that too ::) . I tried to planar map it but the details don't match exactly with the texture.
I am also curious if you guys have reached a decision yet?

We're still deciding. You're a hard case :)

We finally decided. Unfortunately, it's a no this time. If you work on your texturing, then maybe you can re-apply later. We'd like to thank you for your time and your interest.

Am I told "no" just because I didn't make texture of the high poly? If you wanted i could have made a low poly and textured it but i was never asked to do so. As silence said:"if I wanted a normal from that picture I wouldn't sculp it.I would have used nvidia filter or crazy bump."
so I was thinking he wants high poly textured.....
Anyways thanks for your time and looking at my work. Good Luck to you guys :)
