Hi again, I was wondering, it would be kind of cool to have a thread about how the whole Project Stealth started, like who does what and who directs who, in more depth, and why the project started, it would just nice to read about the journey of getting to the project.

Stuff like:

  • Who were the main people at the start?

  • How the rest team came along?

How did the Project happen and why?

The main people who started the Project, how did they make it succesful?

And etc.

P.S: Unless this type of questions are already answered in depth somewhere "Plox gief linkz"

They are going to say the exact same things as Im saying now:

Double Agent didn't live up to the expectations of the chaostheory community / veterans of it

and project stealth was weighing out the factors of It was going to be successful or not .

IF doubleagent was a success and ubisoft was actually going to listen and fix what had to be fixed, Project stealth would have not been started But due to the factors that the fix lists the community have provided over the years was ignored .  It was Mr.Mic who though of the idea to form a development team
via Teamspeak chat  along with kebab /Macbryce zedblade , Frvge element54.

It was Mr.mic, zedblade ,frvge ,goodkebab ,Element54 , Mcbryce  S.A.S akabari ,Scope2005
as well as other talented mappers who were behind the First ever Project : UMP or
Unified Mapping project, that started It all because Ubisoft once again Failed to deliver the same Multiplayer experience as what was expected from Pandora tomorow / the maps from Pandora tomorrow that people got so accustomed to playing . So From there the team ported over the maps as well
redesigned the pandora maps with the idea of Chaostheory implementation in mind (co-op spots , the whole nine yards / As well as the very First Balanced map pack you see today Also known as : The Mr.mics map pack.

From there as the years went on from beyond 2006 , Double Agent came out, The veteran community tested out double agent and saw that it wasn't all the hype / expecations it had hope to be.

The team Knowing this ,gave them the green light, then ideas were passed On of what engine to use

If it would be the crysis engine and so on because at that time  there was no engines out there that were free , so thus that Chaotheory used Unrealtournament for its games . The project Stealth team
decided to use the UT3 engine from a game called Roboblitz  thus creating the first Prototype ever
for Project stealth with everything coded, The team had to wait for Unrealtournament 3 to come outto really set the wheels in motion.

As of Novermber 22nd The Project stealth team then proceeded to transfer all the code but then when transfering everything to the real UT3 engine came to complications , ie things like pole climbing and what you had to be all recoded  thus putting everything on haitus  , as well as other members such as

seefoo / tigaer and overstatement leaving the team  due to personal intrests/ conflict , which in turn

led to other people being recruited to the team,  Or people saying they have the talent ,getting on the team and doing nothing.

Hence why it may seem so long that the project has been taking interms of progress but as they say slow and steady wins the race.

Uhmm, thanks agent, but you are not in my good graces.

Agent is mostly right. Some minor things, but the general things are ok IMO.

Laughing my fucking ass off.

Reading Agent's explanation of the origin of PS is the funniest thing you can ever do while intoxicated.

I imagined the robotic turkey from ATHF with the deep, enthralling robotic voice, making up origin stories after making a slow hand motion and some dry ice smoke clouds from out of nowhere.

the funny starts at 1:20, agent is turkatron.  It all makes sense now.

"My sleek turkey body."

*Edit for further clarification*

My favorite line in that clip.

*End Edit*

...That is all

Says you, even after I told you Frvge will edit your post and you told me Good luck xD

[frvge edit: be nice! Take your personal problems with Agent to a PM. sigh]

DreadStunLock

I can't remember which maps IIRC made, but I really liked ESL, the edit of original maps to 1v1 was really nice, and sometimes it's really nice to play with friends too.

Seems good. Would be nice to see good mappers that made Clarity Soft and other brilliant maps

there werent a series of mappers that made clarity soft just to clarify, it was made by echelonfox by himself

with the tips and pointers of the mapping community at the time , which I might  add i still keep in contact with him.
