I'm new as well, I had heard about this a long time ago. I played CT on the xbox for 3 years or something. I wasn't really as good as some of the people who played there. I was regular I guess, I was starting to get good until Microsoft shut down the servers.

I hear this is only for PC, I have no problem with this excepth that I don't have a decent computer right now and that I've never played CT on PC so learning the controls would be difficult. However I was told I could use an xbox controller or something. Is it possible? I'd rather learn to play with PC controls but I want to keep my options open.

Nope like I said I can't even run Chaos Theory on this PC, believe me I've tried. Now I do work better as a mercenary it was always hard to play spies though especially when I never had useful partner so I'd always end up losing when playing as a spy. Playing mercenaries was always easier.

As much as Agentx is an experienced player, he is definitely the worst partner, due to the fact that he is very selfish when it comes to play, he never brings the equipment he is told to help his partner, to get a good partner you just need to search for that one :P

I can't even play so yeah. I'll take any help though, after I stop making mistakes as a spy then maybe I'll look into other options. The problem I had, was either my partner was great as a spy and I didn't really do much at all or I had to do everything and I was never good at playing doing things alone as a spy. At the start mercenary can be a bit easier, but once you meet spies that are good at aggresive actions, there is really little you can do, the only thing I can do is pray to give a first headshot before they get close to me, and the other guy will either get killed by my lag charge, or he will run away.

I always used to get knocked out by stickies when I started playing against good spies. I also used to charge to much at the enemies. Sniping was also very difficult with good spies, I was getting good at it too but they shut down the servers. I can't imagine that using PC controls is going to be easy at all, the most I've every played on PC is Starcraft and Starcraft 2 and those are RTS so it's not so difficult to play if you know the hotkeys and stuff.

You need a frame unlocker for best sniping, it's not necessary, but it can help. Speed cams are an issue, esspecially if you don't have a sound enhancer of some sort. Try learning the map fully, every in and out, and you will see your performance increase a lot. Esspecially to the point where you will know the obvious spots and people will call you a cheater when you kill them without them knowing xD

Cams were always difficult to detect, I just started using the gas mask in corners or in places I know where they put stickies. I think I memorized Aquarius, Clubhouse, Rivermall, Warehouse, Museum and a bit of Deftech. Other maps like Station, Factory, Orphanage and Bank I never really played because nobody played them and I couldn't host. However by the time I knew all those maps I don't think there were any good players around and I'm not that great either so on PC it's going to be hard to learn especially since most people who play on PC are pros.

Yeah that was also common on xbox. People always used lag switches and there always those guys that never missed shots. I hated those guys, the worst part is that they were always bragging about how good they were.

Yes there is legit people, Kingwebs, Policota, Blackveldt, Sithduke, Frozenfire, Torrila or Torilla? Torrilla? Gosh never remember them, I think Shareza and Rounix play? No, probably not, wasn't long since they stopped or maybe they do it secretly, Deathdealer plays very little, mostly I see him with Knooger, Metal.Tox(Rager), FatalSeid(Rager) Snajper004 and Scorpionx9 does play as well, mostly of those players Agentx hates don't know what's his problem with that. But as agent stated there are people to play with and best way to find them is either here or on SCVideo Archive sweet stuff, you can also learn a lot from youtube videos, I learned freakishly a lot from the Sticky Cam 2 video where veldt goes nuts with her speed cams, and hey it works.

Agent the reason I made that video is for fun, Mulle often asks me to help him to do cheats and we let people come in our server and they either join us, or leave us.
