This is just a game, winning & loosing shouldnt be taken as seriously as it is ATM. People should play for fun, not ftw.

thats the thing tho freeman , in the beggining it will be fun cause everyone is new , but give it couple years and then it willl be back to competition um but then again if people keep making new maps then the cycle continues =) .

Awesome.  McCain ftw.  Let's not turn this into a political thread though...  It's a double side blade Rambo.  On one hand, it would be annoying for someone to be able to have an unlimited time out.  On the other hand, it would be annoying because nobody would ever accept it unless you knew the person well.  Either way, it won't work.

Wow, you've explained that 39 times now.  Doesn't matter.  There's no point to it because nobody will vote yes anyways, as I've said before in my previous post.  If you know the people and they would vote yes, it probably doesn't matter if you win or lose against them does it?  It's your fault for readying up when you clearly aren't ready.  If something comes up, like your grandma dies, then CT automatically becomes unimportant, so big deal.  If you have to take a call, then you get to be idle for however long it takes you to hang up.  If you have to piss, why don't you go get a portable urinal and plop it on your seat before you ready up.  Or you just take the piss before you ready up.

I can't personally believe that an idea would come up to help people that have to piss while in game.  It's unbelievable. :D

One of the main goal when you make a game is to clearly not create something that could break the game flow = PAUSE

If the pause isn't part of the in-game gameplays... it should go to hell. Plus, freezing the game because you need to do something is totally selfish and undisciplined. Lack of respect toward your engagement to ready up... Yes, an urgent moment can happen, but I'm sure you will live with it.

PS isn't Baldur's Gate lol or Fallout 3.

After all this is only a game. Do people really care that much about someone going AFK mid game, that they'd initiate a pause vote mid game, and annoy all the other players. It would only work if players werent forced to answer. This would stop it being so annoying, and could be ignored if spammed. Maybe like a small popup similar to that of xfire's when you recieve a message ingame. I still dont like the idea though. :-\

Well that's how you go about other ideas anyways, Gawain.  I wish you would have used that kind of logic in other threads.  Most people here are against it because the annoyance, the stupidity, and the fact it totally destroys flow in a game like SvM where it needs flow, and not a potty break in the middle of the match.  What is this?  Kindergarten?  Come on now...  The uses you find for it only favor the dumb people and people that care wayyy too much about winning/losing ONE game, why favor those guys?  Those are the guys most of us hate.  Don't you hate it when some guy goes back to lobby mid game and says: "I got wrong equipment", or "I have to take a shit"  This is the same deal, same exact deal.  No thanks.  Ruins flow.
