Did I ever say that my grabs are legit? I said that there is no reason for noobs like you to cry about them, because my side grabs do not come from host ability, they come from a quick reaction by the merc.
If your grabs aren't legit then I should have the right to complain about them.  I see a contradiction.  Have you ever been backed into a corner, then seen the host come run right towards you, then grab you?  I've seen it and experienced it loads of times, as both the host and as a guest merc.  I have not once seen a guest grab someone from the front of the merc.
I have elbowed somebody from behind as a host too, open your eyes please.
I've side grabbed as host... but I've also side grabbed as a guest.
You aren't going to grab someone 100% of the time from behind even when you are host.  But you are going to grab them as a host from the left side, the right side, or from behind them 90% of the time.  While as a guest it's much much much lower percentage.   

I'm absolutely stunned by this post.  Or any post that says there is no host grab.

About the sniping host advantage... it's not only host, it's anybody with a good connection to the server, so therefore it cannot be classified as a "host advantage".

It means everybody lags except the host. The host is the one who received the transfered data. I'm sure you know how upload and download works.

Listen here Sally. We've determined that host has no real lag. However, whats shitty is the idea of 2 ppl in the same country/continent playing 2 people in another country/continent (i.e. Euro vs NA) and one team not even being able to compete because the lag is so off the fuckin wall. Also, hosts need to realize that when they run a 3rd party program they are lagging everyone else in the server. Not too many people have really figured that genius out.

Today I got accused of lagging a server by taking a shotgun, so the host turned off the mics (dont really know what that accomplished...i did have to use rifle (OH NOES))....WHICH ALSO ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING BECAUSE IN GAME MICS DONT LAG......but 3rd party voice chats do. The person then called me a cheater after we won...w/out comms. Host needs to not be a piece of dung and run other programs. Thats doesn't help the cause....that means all you fools video-tapping (fraps). I can understand if another person is running it...but if host is running it and tries to "seem cool because he has teh l33test skills" while hosting the shit out of ppl.....

1. directly to it's target
2. with the game data -> Voice lags just as much as the game.

Bottom Line: Host doesn't have lag, so he has an advantage.  He has an advantage in shooting because his bullets aren't delayed.  No one can possibly ever get no lag, as much as the host does.  If someone doesn't have a lot of lag, and their bullets are hitting almost instantly, host still has advantages.  Bigger grabbing/jumping ranges.  Stfu, you have no idea Blank Man.

Sometimes my mic didn't work in CT, but fine in third party Apps. Thats the only reason i ever use 3rd party apps.

+ if everyone uses the ingame mic chat, we can make use of spy bullets and traps more.


I think the hack key needs a change to. Its to far away for WASD, putting it to "G" or something would be cool.
