Even the Open-source Spring RTS project has this. And it was made from parts of Total Annihilation RTS game.  :P

UT3 uses Ageia.

Uhm... It's using Karma. It just supports the PhysX cards.

No, that's Unreal 2. UT3 uses Ageia's PhysX technology.

We have a flame thread?
Yea, here: http://sclamers.17.forumer.com/ >.>
Seriously, you should stop advertising SCLamers as merely a flame forum. You've done this about a half dozen times, and that's not the purpose of the site.

SCLamers was created because a large portion of the playerbase from CT SvM was banned from Ubi.com for frivolous reasons. The caveat is that the forum would be un-moderated, so people could speak freely. Not much CT discussion goes on anymore due to the game's age, but the majority of people who originally formed the forum still discuss common topics of interest.

Yes, sometimes flames are thrown around, but if you read a few threads you'll notice that it's directed at only a couple members who routinely bring it upon themselves. Any "flaming" you see beyond that is the same type of ribbing that friends would give each other (which, incidentally, is why some of us were banned from Ubi.com when a certain new, morbidly obese moderator was hired). But when you send newcomers over there with the idea that the purpose of the site is for a bunch of random nerds to act like jackasses to each other, it has the potential to ruin the site.

There's more flaming and idiocy on the first page of PS general discussion than there is on the whole of SCLamers.

I blame frvge, he started saying that in numerous of threads. Don't get me wrong though, but last time I checked SCLamers, there as a lot of "fucking", "shitting" and thus flaming in almost every topic I checked... So my statement isn't totally wrong.

Though, I do apologize if it offended you in any way.

Just because there are more swear words on SCL doesn't mean it's a flame forum. There are only a few active members who get flamed, and they bring it on themselves.

Gawain

there might be a harsh tone at sclamers, but it's a great forum because there are tons of grown-up vets and no stupid political correctness n shit. cataclysm's "i love music" thread alone totally pwns the whole ps forum.

frvge

There's no political correctness here either. =/ I dont get your point.

i said what makes it a great forum compared to all the others, not compared specifically to the ps forum.
i guess once ps is out for a year or two so that a real community can grow the ps forums will become just as good unless tons of stupid kids outspam the vets.

I don't know why everyone respects the vets so much, jeez all they are are people who are good at SC. If someones nice, you should respect them, not all of this Vet outspam noob crap bullshit.
