Conversely, I have seen several players who have been playing as long as I (some longer) and never get past mediocre skill.

While I don't disagree with Mic in his "bold" statement, I do have to say it will always take 2. Granted there are the times where the mate doesn't produce, but there will always be times where you produce even less. It happens. If its going to be a team thing, then it needs to stay there. Ultimately thats where the game lies yea?

individual skill certainly matters a lot, but it's the teamplay with tactics suited for every map that makes the difference between average and outstanding.
