Conviction did get a official delay of until late 2009 to early 2010.

Now im gona assume it isn't gona take that long for PS to get some kind of beta out there, i think is good for PS.  Because what if Conviction did come out this year and some how had the amazing gameplay of SvM, and PS was still working on getting out a beta, wouldn't that be a major blow to you guys?  But this way you guys get to make the first move and people get acoustumed to your game first.  Some people may not want to shell out for UT3 and Conviction and may just go with conviction.  I'm guess most SvM players are hardcore enough to buy both but still.

I think its good news.  What do other people think? or is this not very important to PS

Convictions doesn't matter   and  if convictions is done right then , even still project stealth would have its mission fulfilled , actually people would shell out cash for ut3 because it would be cheaper ... then convictions..

Conviction can't be good. It is impossible.

It's good they took it back to the drawing table, might give them the idea to add some light an shadow missions aswell.

Or even better, they will redo the whole story so it will re-establish Third Echelon and the game after Conviction will be like our good ol' Splinter Cell games, with Lambert, Sam, Anna and whoever else.

At least thats what I hope they will do, though, I leave it to the storywriters to make something up for that, because I'm out of ideas on how to revert back the changes they made in Double Agent (shooting Lambert, not being able to tell you're from Third Echelon, being accused of terrorism AND being a fugutive, that must be one hell of game to revert all that back to normal). It actually might be a pretty fucking good game if they could manage to do that.

oO

for the sp they could easily mix light/shadow and crowd gameplay and create something really unique, but that would require too much brain for ubi...
regarding the mp: ubi, ea and some other crap companies simply aren't able to provide good patches/balancing/support in time, so they gonna blow this no matter which way they choose.

I don't really care about MP that comes with Conviction, I'm working on PS for that.

What I do care about is that they finish what DA started in a DA like way (since gameplayish, there was nothing wrong with DA, it was new yet fun IMO), not something totally new. I was very excited DA showed me a big "To Be Continued" in the New York level, I would really love to see how they fix it all up (as I stated before - shooting Lambert, fugutive, etc -).

Yup.

I just noticed McBryce is dead.
?
No, he's not.
I'm just being the most active and basically doing all the managing stuff. Friendly-takeover. Muahhaha
He still visits with comments, but he's busy with his work.

As with SCC:
Well, I hope we'll have a beta out by then. I'm hoping SCC will be better with the extra delay, but I certainly wont buy it. Maybe a demo... dunno.

Easy.

Background:
Sam and Lambert are doing there weekly grocery shop in the supermarket. Unfortunately the supermarket is busy, so there alot of hustle, people are pushing pasts each other. Sam is in the vegetable section, looking for his all important nutritious vegetables, while Lambert is deciding which pack of strawberries to buy for his strawberry cheesecake which he will later serve at his annual family barbeque. Among the hustle and bustle Lambert rushes past Sam, leaving his hand trailing behind which unfortunately colides with Sams manly chest. Without wanting to cause a scene, Sam begrudgingly picks up all of the strawberries and puts them in the crate. Sam missed one of the strawberries.

Lambert: Sorry, you've missed one.
Sam: Ah yeh, No point saving one and not the other.
Lambert: Be quick, someone might step on it.

*Someone partially crushes the strawberry.

Lambert: God damnit Fisher!! We can't afford to let it bruise, quick get in there fisher and stabalise it.
Sam: Fisher?! Lambert?!
Lambert: My god Fisher, what the hell are you doing here? Get the hell out of here!

*Sam becomes forceful

Sam: First some questions. Who did you buy the strawberries for?! What do you intend to use the strawberries for?! Who was your supplier?!
Lambert: I....I'm having a family barbeque. I'm putting them in my homemade cheescake, and i've just got them infront of you damnit.
Sam: Ok, now we've got that one sorted, fancy a coffee.

*Sam & Lambert walk to there nearest Fourbucks.

Lambert: God damnit, why the fuck is fourbucks always so busy?! You'll have to infiltrate through the ventilation system Sam.
Sam: Next time, you're going on the mission and I'm coming up with the crazy plan.

*Sam successfully gets two cups off coffee, and gets to his extraction point, outside of fourbucks. They continue down to the local park and sit on a bench.

Lambert: I've been hearing things Fisher....
Sam: like what?
Lambert: I hear you can interact with the environment now?
Sam: Yeh you saw me pick up those strawberries? Pretty fucking pwnage huh?
Lambert: Well I'm not so sure. With great power comes great responsibility.
Sam: Where are we?
Lambert: Jerusalum.
Sam: So this is where all the Peace and love comes from. How did i get hear.
Lambert: Why dont you know yourself.
Sam: Since my accident I can't make new memories.
Lambert: Your accident, why what happened.
Sam: Well when you told me my daughter died, i got all emo and went through a deathmetal stage, real mid life crysis, anyway i was headbanging to some slipknot, when i slipped and faceplanted the pavement, now i have no from after the accident. I have to take loads of pictures and notes to remind myself of what im supposed to be doing everyday. I wan't to find that SOB who killed my daughter.
Lambert: Funny you should say that. I'm working on a case atm which could be linked to your daughters death, where not sure what the case is yet or who is involved, what actually happened, when it happened or even if its happened, but we are sure its linked to her death.
Sam: OMG rly?
Lambert: Ya really, you know fisher since that noob died in the first level of double agent, we haven't had a decent spy. I can get rid of all these charges fisher, if you come back.
Sam: Ok, you look important, I trust you. But who are you?
Lambert: I'm lambert.

*Sam takes picture and writes lambert on it

Sam: Ok i come work for you. Whats the money like.
Lambert: Hmmm. 25 cents an hour and not a penny more.
Sam: Deal.

Indication of just how bored i was.
