Trailer Creation

Hi,

My name is Dempsey Van Assche and I'm from Belgium. I've been hearing a lot about this project and I've been monitoring so far. I've got to say that it has got quite of my attention and now I feel like trying to help out. I've made my hobby of Gaming and Video Editing. And I've been doing a lot of trailer type video's ever since. And I've recently started on a long story-movie in the Grand Theft Auto 4 game. Of which the trailer has not yet been made unfortunatly due the movie not being in a near-finished state. However, I wanted to join the team maybe as a video-editor. Making How-to video's or even a trailer if nessecary.
To convince you about the skills I might have you will have to wait just a bit untill I release my movie trailer.

What do you use? Avid, Premiere, Final Cut?

Do you have any works that you can show us aside from the unfinished GTA4 movie.

I use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12. It's a descent video-editing program that has never let me down before. It enables me to chose every output possible for video and/or audio.

The movie of GTA IV is still in an early fase and it might take me some more time to finish.
I'll be sure to keep you updated. The best way however to stay updated is to add me on Windows Live Messenger. I keep a bunch of fans in a separate group and keep them updated in real-time.

About the video's. I used to have lot's of video's posted on YouTube. But with my nickname changing from Connexion to FoxDie and my skills being improved (in my opinion) a lot. Those video's would just give me a bad name. Learning new camera tricks, learning feel the atmosphere in a soundtrack and adding all kinds of effects is an everyday job. And after a while you notice that you're previous video's look bad.
However if anyone of you (the P.S. crew) has a temporary solution on how I can convince some of you. Let me know. I'd be happy to apply.

If you aren't able to open it (which is not normal) try installing VLC player its a allcodec media player tool.

Hi, I've finished a trailer-like video about assassin's creed. It should give you a pretty good idea of what i'm capable of. There is one thing though :p The music at the end has this brutal stop which doesn't sound so good. However it's an impossible song to edit. By all and all I personally like the video a lot.
Give it a try, I'll upload it where my GTA 4 roughcut was uploaded.
