We're happy to inform you that we're going to use the Unreal Development Kit by Epic Games.
The UDK is the full, unrestricted version of the Unreal 3.5 engine. This engine has more advanced features than the engine used in commercial titles like Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War 2.

We will be extending the UDK Editor with our custom PS-related nodes and options that will make Project Stealth better than ever before. As an example: we now have the possibility to add custom sounds to materials like carpet, gravel, metal and wood. It actually getting implemented depends on our results during coding, mapping and playtesting.

Porting the UT3 version to UDK is a fairly straight-forward process, but with all the new bits and pieces, it can take a while before you get to see the results. UDK itself is currently in beta, so testing will also take some time.

A short list of pros is listed below:
Full access to UnrealScript making lots of previously impossible things possible
Better access to the official documentation
LightMass: advanced lighting and shadowing techniques
More advanced physics-support
Custom server implementation is now possible
Stand-alone
Good licensing options to go retail (we're staying free, don't worry)

Cons:
No native C++ source code

We'd like to invite all our CT mapping-friends to get the free UDK and start mapping for Project Stealth.

No, SCDA doesn't have an editor.
You can use stuff from UT3 I guess.

No, you can't.
All stuff for PS has to be custom-made from scratch.

I do not have an honest idea, of which you try to say. I do not know, if you have an incapacity of the training, or its speech that I am the product of a terrible software of the translation for the computer. The linguistic one of dae (automatic device of the information entrance) of Google is really too good really to produce. Really that I will be used instead of the English, manually e, applications the control of the addition the end to produce, that is incomprehensible in the process.

Does this mean that it might be possible to get this licensed the the Xbox 360 now, since it isn't a mod?

frvge

I don't know. We're focusing on PC now. If that works, we'll see about the 360. I'm not promising anything, especially because I don't know what Microsofts stance is on indies that aren't made with XBA or w/e it's called.

This is one of the few games I've seen for the UE3 that doesn't look like Gears of War, thank god.
Props to the artists and modelers.
