Rocket, you're arguing with a guy who thinks a nautical compass belongs on the merc HUD.

Thanks for your irrelevant contribution; I'm sure it feels great to be included in the conversation ;).

Oh, I'm not expecting to get anywhere, I'm just trying to get Stone to rant some more about how shooting is stealth because the developers didn't let you be steathly except that makes it stealthy also the game is great you're just trying to dislike it grrrr.

I mean like you're not enjoying this.

Do you not learn from your mistakes? Before you called me out for saying that the use of flashbangs is stealthy, when not once did I imply or even say such a thing, and now this. I didn't say that shooting was stealthy; I've lost count of how many times I said that I've used the full amount of possibly stealth in each of my walkthroughs. You seem to be purposefully ignoring what I say to support your own arguments, and to get a rise out of me... it's pointless, your just proving yourself to be an ignorant tool, quite frankly.

Spark Mandriller

So why did you claim the video is full stealth if you agree that parts of it aren't stealthy at all Stone? Well? WELL???????

LEARN, TO, FUCKING, READ. I'm sorry, but you really are just so obnoxious.

I used the full amount of stealth that is available to the player, so it is perfectly logical to call the video 'Full Stealth'. Nobody is necessarily right about the definition of 'Full Stealth', but seeing as my own definition does actually make grammatical sense, you don't really have any source of complaint.

plays better as a shooter than a stealth game. I find it boring TBH.

So basically you're such a huge fanboy that you don't want to admit that anything in Conviction could be anything less than the pinnacle of stealth so you're mad at me because I'm forcing you to admit that parts of the game can't be completed through sneaking.

Right?

Farley4Fan

Gamepot just handed out the PC version of Conviction a 6.5 out of 10.

Obviously it's the lowest score ever given a Splinter Cell game, except for maybe Essentials.  Obviously it's a shitty port because Ubi is shitty and puts in a shitty amount of effort and therefore the end product is shitty.

Splinter Cell is scoring in the 6's?  The world is ending in 2 years.  Get laid.

No, I'm mad at you because you don't fucking read what I'm saying, and you STILL haven't. I don't care that aspects of the game can't be completed by sneaking, I used the full amount of stealth possible. READ.

Personally I haven't had any problems with it at all; the only aspects I've found to be poorly ported is the lack of communication in multiplayer, and the mouse smoothing for those who haven't disabled it.

Well, if the review means anything, it's the lowest score ever in the Splinter Cell series.  It also got the lowest xbox score ever at a good but not great 8.0.

Reviews don't mean much at all but to me, Gamespot seemed the most honest and the other major sites seemed like they were just advertising.  Why else would IGN post 3 or 4 review stories and each one says that it's the best game ever and the best Splinter Cell yada yada yada?

It's either they were advertising the game, or they are just casual gamers.  I think it's the latter.  IGN writers are not gamers and Gamepot is full of a bunch of gamers.  They never had the time nor the desire to love the old splinter cell for what they were.  And now that they have a quick and simple version of an extremely cool franchise, they love it to death.

The whole review system is flawed.

Correct me if I'm wrong Farly but I read on the IGN site that they moved the review to next week in the hope Ubisoft patches out atleast the multiplayer connection problems as that's where the Xbox version scored the highest on.

Farley4Fan

The review is already out.  They gave it an incredible 9.3 because it's tailored to their preferences of depth.

I see, there's nothing of a review on the UK site and somehow it won't let me switch to the US site so that's probably why I haven't been able to read it.

I'm not really convinced, Stone. I think you're just lying to yourself. Really, think about things. You'll see I'm right.
