Kinda funny.

When spek mentioned a german dictator from FIFA I thought of Hitler.  I looked up "Hitler FIFA" on youtube.  There are surprisingly about a dozen of these.

Annd Fifa has banned local sports radio stations from playing the replay of that goal.
Where did you get that information from? Source?

Spekkio knows all.

Trust me, I know.

Because I know all.

Good, then bring me that source.

It is a very sad day for the red white and blue.  Time to cheer for the dutchies!  Go orange!

It was kind of sad but then again they played with heart and energy.  Saw some passion here and there but they just couldn't score the ball.  Soccer seems more and more like a game based on luck the more I watch it.  Luck, endurance, and vuvuzelas.

I don't have a written one. I was listening to WFAN in the morning, and after they shifted from recapping Mets/Yankees highlights they started talking about USA's supposedly epic goal in stoppage time. Then the jockey said that they unfortunately could not replay the goal because FIFA will not give permission.

YaYz0r

That has not been because they did not want people to see that the referee made a wrong decision. It must have had something to do with a lack of rights to show footage from the tournament or something like that. It is therefore not a proper reason to hate on soccer.

I don't care about your opinion on why they did it, they still did it. Like I said, they are the only major sports organization that is so stuck up that it bans media outlets from replaying highlights. I have seen plenty of "botched call" replays from all other major sports.

Farley4Fan

And now England is screwed out of a goal and FIFA says NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOO VIDEOOOOOOOOO REPLAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!

They suggest putting out another one of their incompetent referees onto the field so there are 2 at a time making poor calls.

FIFA is obviously rigged. If it wasn't the USA would have won. Quite obvious. You guys are all morons.

Are you talking about the USA vs. Ghana game?  That was a fair game without any rigging.  There wasn't much to complain about there.  We lost.
The Slovenia and Algeria games were the ones with blown calls.  Then again today both the Mexicans and the English got robbed by the refs.  You never know for sure if the refs are legitimate.  Everything happens so fast, and they do not use replays (although they should).  Plus, whenever a ref makes terrible calls, everybody knows he will never call the shots for a world cup game ever again.

Everyone knows the USA is a superior nation at almost everything. We are only not superior at producing cocaine but that is about it.

So you do not care about the fact that FIFA most likely "banned" them from showing the replay with a completely legitimate reason? FIFA would never keep companies with the rights to show footage from their world cup away from replaying a bad call from a referee. And the call was not even that bad if you compare it to what happened yesterday etc. So stop being an idiot. You should have figured this out yourself with your common sense instead of hating on FIFA or soccer. You can criticize FIFA for many reasons but this is definitely not one of them.
