If WFAN have had the will to get the rights to broadcast or show footage from the World Cup and the economy for it, they would have gotten them. It is not FIFA's fault that they did not, so stop criticizing FIFA for it. Period.

Yeah I don't get what you're basing this off of.

YaYz0r

I am basing it on pure logics.

Farley4Fan

Your logic says that you know WFAN did not have the will to get them?

YaYz0r

And/or the economy. Otherwise they would have gotten them. I do not see any reasons to why FIFA should have kept them from getting those rights unless they could not pay up.

Farley4Fan

Yeah, and if FIFA is too expensive to allow something like replay rights then I can see Spek's point, and not your point.

I don't either, but they did. I also don't know why they block encore replays of games played at 10 am, but they do that, too. I've told you multiple times that WFAN has both the economy and the will to obtain broadcast rights, at least the ability to replay highlights.

YaYz0r

I assume you can (could) watch the games and the replays on other channels. WFAN simply must have lost the negotiation for the rights and they were given to other channels. Why would FIFA ban them from broadcasting/showing footage from the World Cup just for the sake of banning them?

That, sir, is the right question.
