It was probably suggested maybe even made but it's better to make sure anyway. I really liked the move in COOP mode in SCCT which allowed you to throw a mate over a hedge, spiky fence or a high wall. I wonder if you guys ever considered this move. I personally think it could be cool and it's actually very effective. If we have a house and a spiky fence around it then throwing your mate over it to get in is not a bad idea.

(it's such an obvious move I can't be first to point it out so just tell me if you guys thought of it and if you didn't like it then tell me why? - Thank you)

It doesn't work if you're playing against humans. At least not in an offensive way (aka trying to KO a Merc with it).

I think the more coop moves/spots the better.  As long as they aren't clunky like CT.

Make a big buffer zone for the coop actions.  So as long as you are in the zone you will automatically move to the coop spot if you press the button.  Lining shit up is annoying.

And the throw may work against humans.  Maybe if one spy was in camo and if thrown spies can knock out charging mercs, then that might work.  But I think you're right.  In play, no one would probably make the effort to do this unless it worked really quick and a good aggro tool.  That would require a lot of work to make it quick, fluid, look good, and functional though.

Ehm I dont think I get you guys. I don't mean to use it somehow to attack mercenary(I don't talk about tiger jump if that's what was in your mind) I mean sometimes you can't get on to something cause you can get hurt e.g. spiky metal fence, or a wall with those ehm... what its called... you know you have a wall and on the top of it you have such funny rolled metal thing also with small spikes. Well the thing is - you won't jump and simply grab the top of it and get over cause you can get hurt. that's why you have a mate who will throw you over it. Is that clear?

That was what i thought you meant at first but I was responding to fridge, I think he misinterpereted what you wrote.

Whats there to misinterpreted? He thinks a coop move to throw your mate over something high is a good idea, which I agree with. More coop moves in general would be a good idea too.

Farley4Fan

Well I think it could have been taken as throwing your mate into a merc. At least that's how fridge took it  ;D

That's how SCCT's Coop is and I'm a big fan of that. So yeah, it made me think of that.

I think CT's coop also had the move that the op was talking about iirc.  In a few spots at least.

puuusianka

Ehm to clear things up... Does that mean you thought about it, made it or will consider that?

Farley4Fan

Well Lennard approves at least.  And he's the HBIC up in here.  (Head bitch in charge)  It depends if the mappers could find good use for this move I think.  Hospital comes to mind with the walls outside.
