I'm not a big fan of the heavy duty stuff. It all for some odd reason reminds me of Darth Vader. There's that a picture i forget where where it's kind a like a racing helmet. That's not bad but I'd rather see the guys hair and some skin on the face.
The two edited pictures by tidenburg would be great, if only you removed the helmet, and the fabric and all. Just keep the visor, and gasmask and put the little light on the actual visor.
Our mercs don't need head armor or too much other armor. The spies don't have lethal weapons. Or spy suit looks hightech and almost borg like. Our Mercs should look like people, with guns that shoot shit.

Good point Daybreak.  However, while our mercenaries don't "need" armor due to spies not having a lethal gun, it still makes sense for the mercenaries to have it anyways.  The mercenaries are simply hired to protect this stuff - I always assumed they didn't know exactly what they were going against.  Hence they prepare for the worst (armor and what not).  I just think we should get a merc as close as possible to the CT mercs - they were simply too cool.  The helmet, the body armor, the medium build, etc.  All of that stuff looked so awesome on the CT merc.  I think of something resembling the DA merc and shiver in fear.  That thing was beyond ugly (besides the fully upgraded one).

Splinter Cell isn't that "realistic."  The Delta Force helmet doesn't look good either.  A regular, designed helmet will suffice.
