I learned that angle and the place of shot from just playing the game, I saw some people attempting it, some killing me with the shot etc. So I just started to practice it on my own whenever I played, worst thing that could've happened was the spy moving one meter to either way which was easy to spot thanks to EMF and most of the time people just stop hacking half a second before you're able to take the shot because they can hear the footsteps.

Also learning the angles with nades takes time. Just getting mostly used to the angle the grenade flies off the tube comes in just a few games, so do the bounces, doesn't take that long to figure out mostly how to bounce a nade towards an objective in a way that it kills a spy (think clubhouses lunch room, the nade from the corridor that can be put right over the objective thro the little hole that is blown open).

And if your teammate got disappointed because you missed one somewhat-hard to hard to land nade, then he's just being a douche.

Farley@ What's the point? It's time waste for the helping player.

Well then you could return the favor.

Actually a great idea poped in my mind why not make a community of teachers. Actually that's how you learn your first steps(that's how i started). I found some guy that liked me despite being a nooby and he taught me a few tricks then my way opened to another people. I think this could be good idea if we want to avoid noob plague.

We got the training covered with a nice idea that probably appeals both to pros and novices. And no, making the training does not take too much time. All modularized so a lot of re-use. Details in due time.

Yes, but if you don't know how to do that grenade and you saw it's possible, then how can you practice it? You can't practice alone because you don't know wether it landed in the place you wanted since the grenade might be shot inside a vent and bounce off to the area where you just can't see?

Answer: Play Pool. IF Your pro at pool like I am, ur definetly going to be able to land any shot
because that's what pool is about : knowing your angles to align the shot/ also predicting where your opponent is going to shoot hence being one step ahead.

You really can't include pool in your comparison Agent. If you were a pro like you say you are, then you would know that when you play pool, the table conditions affect the rebound angle and even more if using reverse of running english on the rails. You can't treat a grenade's throw like a pool shoot because with the grenade the speed is irrelevant on how it would bounce off the wall to kill a spy let's say. In pool when you shoot soft it widens the angle and if you shoot hard into the rail, it reduces it.

and btw, knowing what shot your opponent will do next doesn't make you one step ahead, it just means that you missed your inning and you sit and wait.

And so Jimbojim makes his first post, and within that post he owns agent.

Welcome, Jim, welcome.
