Crysis 2 (demo out)

The demo is only for the 360. I played it, loved the original 2 games, and I have to say that I'm a bit dissapointed. I expected it to be at least a little shitty on xbox, but it exceeded my shitxpectations. Controls unresponsive, clunky, laggy, eh...

What sucks is that all my real friends who I play xbox with all the time are like "ahmahgawwd the grafix sooo good I'm buying it!" I would never buy this game for xbox unless all my friends get it, and I'm currently convincing them how shitty it is 1 friend at a time.

The visuals are nice on the xbox and I'm surprised they "pulled this off". I only quote that because I'm not sure if they actually did "pull this off". The visuals may very well be the reason the controls are so responsive because the poor console can't really handle it all without a delay. Not to mention, the game froze my xbox twice and "matchmaking" is slow.

Over simplified, COD perks/classes/killstreaks have all been injected for no reason.

Cool map though. Nice design with nice interaction.

I'll hold off on even thinking about buying it. And if I do think about it, it will be for PC where the controls will be responsive and not laggy as fuck.

So no surprise here I guess.

Games like this then are not worth to buy, save up for Arkham City, Arkham Asylum never let us down :)

Or if someone was so inclined they could just dl it. Nobody here would do that of course but it's an option for a shitty game you may want to try anyways.

If there is a crack then yes, but since Crysis will be new it will take a while for it to happen, not to mention I don't think you can crack ARMA2 I might be wrong.

That's 1 game. No real proof the follow up will be as good as the first.

Well, the Arkham City is already finished, as far as I know all they are doing now are polishing the game, from bugs and graphic errors. So if they are doing that, the only thing we need to worry about is the plot.

The patch for the 360 port of Daioujou came out recently.

Daioujou is pretty good. You should play that instead of Crysis.

Human Rev isn't even out yet but it looks good. That's why I liked the original crysis because it was kind of like half-life/deus ex where you have a bunch of options. Some of that has been retained but no doubt it has been scaled back a bit because of the consolization.

I'm now playing Dead Space 2 and omg its great. Multiplayer is a little tacked on but it's still pretty fun.

You mean the underwater bit? If so, I agree, that level was so boring and annoying :P. I enjoyed cloaking my way through the game on my first time, barely had to go all guns blazing. It was a lot of fun :P

Yeah I agree to an extent.

That "underwater" part was actually zero-g lol (that part was interesting, but not as fun as killing Koreans with my fists)

Btw, are there vehicles in Crysis 2? I'd be pissed if not.

I really wouldn't mix Deus Ex with Half-life, Half life to me is just a load of bullshit. Especially when you see the aliens...
