one more thought: maybe the grey of the non-clickable text is too dark (or the background is too bright.

Make the clickable light blue, while the non-clickables can be a little lighter

i got the same idea about colorization, but it would destroy the nearly monochromatic effect which makes out the great focus on the coloured map...

Nah, say buttons etc. blue stuff, and the map in full color - i think that blue makes for much better shadows than pitch black.

maybe he was kidding, or meaning something clever. for example, maybe it'll be possible to simply use the ut server browser instead of our own. it's a difference telling a n00b to gtfo, or a much better player then you actually are (from what i can tell, you pretty suck at ct)...
