Returning Maps...

I think that the maps that should return with new textures/ graphics/ designs are:

Warehouse -  Of course this is a map that everyone played all the time, but it got repetitive for me for a few reasons ( boxes all look the same, too many boxes )  I think with new lighting, better textures, and a bigger variety of objects this map would be a lot better.

Aquarius - This is the map that I loved to go completely unnoticed in.  It had multiple pathways, and a lot of cool rooms and features.

Club House - With a darker atmosphere I think it would be a great map.

Deftech Belew -  This map had great potential, however with repeating boxes and containers, it got boring to look at.  The way this map flows is great.  I love how you can easily go from inside to outside while staying hidden.

Museum - Just make it darker please lol

Polar Base - With better snow effects, no cam net looking into spawn, no grabbing glitches, and no spawn grenades I would like to see this map return.  This map was just the right size with total freedom and an open environment.

What maps would you like to see return or what ideas for new maps?





Sorry, just another thing.  I don't want to make a new thread.  An idea would be to completely take out the PD ( of course ), and keep in the remote hacking thing.  The way you would do this is while the spy is hacking, just make it able to be heard and show up one the sound reticule.  The merc would have to be in a certain proximity to hear the spy hack however.  I would just like the remote hacking to stay, and I think this would be a good way to keep it in without ruining the experience.

We can't comment on maps yet, but IF we take inspiration from Ubi's maps, we'll have to change it in order to prevent copyright issues.

The only map being redone in any form is Clubhouse. Yet it will contain its own unique style. No other map will be 're-made.'

Sucked big time. This was a deathmatch map and that's it. Maybe if they opened all three sectors by default, this could become a decent stealth map. Otherwise forget it.

Mostly though, warehouse needs to die a horrible death and never come back. Even if you did manage to sneak into the objective (unlikely), it then just became a fragwhore map. Moment you start hacking, the frag is in in the air.

Aquarius was memorable in that it had a lot of cool rooms, but as for a stealth map, forget about it. You can't sneak around in Aqua like at all, the objectives are just too close together. If there was another objective (I've always suggested a bombing objective inside the office), then this map might be made into a map that isn't hopelessly pro merc.

Great potential? Are you fucking kidding me? This is a total merc map all the way. Enter any building and you trigger static defenses or alerts. You can forget about stealth entirely, take a camnet and you can figure out exactly what building the spy is in.

You sit in A lobby. You have a camnet. As soon as you hear security failure, you check building C entryway. If the sensor isn't knocked out, that means the spy is in building B. This doesn't even take into account that you've got a partner.

If people sneak past you in deftech, then you're a terrible merc.

If you expect to ever win at deftech as spy... well I hope you're good with quickcams, because that's your only hope.

River mall could be good with some changes.

Clubhouse is always a favorite.

I personally liked a lot of the PT maps too: Cinema, Krauser, Hospital, and maybe Schermer too.

Factory and Orphanage can come back too.

Museum should go back to the PT set up with 3 objective groups, instead of 2 cafe, 2 bombing and a disk. The CT version is much too cafe centric.

Irredeemable maps: Deftech, Warehouse, Steel Squat (and probably polar base and bank too).

No remote hacking... just no. If remote hacking is put in, it should have only a range of like 5 feet or something just so the spy doesn't have to stand at the exact same spot every time when hacking and makes less of a sniping target. But hacking objectives across the room is lame.

But not like remote hacking is coming into the game anyway.
