New Coop Moves

I thought of two coop moves that could be added to the game (later of course).  I'll admit that they ARE NOT extremely useful but they do change the game slightly.  But my main question is this; would it hurt the gameplay to add them?

New Coop Moves

1.  Coop Camera Disable - A spy stands on the shoulders of the other spy, giving it the needed height to disable a camera, silently.  The camera goes inactive for a period of time, but it is not revealed to the mercs that it has happened.  Problem:  Not all cameras within maps are within "2 spy length" distance.

2.  Coop Laser Disable - Each spy holds a squarish device over the laser, which reflects the laser.  Basically, the spies take turns going through the lasers, while they each hold their "end" up.  What does this do?  It allows spies to go through laser fields undetected and with no need of rolling.  Problem:  Rolling is much easier and faster.  But, in some levels (such as factory), rolling through a laser field will often result in being noticed by a camera immediately.  Solution:  By doing this coop move, you can easily go through a laser field without going the extra distance that is applied from rolling through.

I know these aren't revolutionary or even useful, but they do add a stealth aspect to the game that I wouldn't mind using.  How often would I use them?  I don't know, they could prove to be totally useless.  If you're going to comment, don't forget to give your input on whether they will hurt gameplay or not!

i like them both, but especially the laser one. rolling through lasers is cheap. i think camo should allow you to bypass cams undetected, and there should be a coop move to get through lasers. this will create a whole bunch of new possibilities gameplay-wise and for the map makers. heck, what about an extra gadget that allows sabotaging security (maybe snares should get a new ability for cams/lasers)?
i also want a medkit/trap disabler as an extra gagdet, as it's kinda stupid and overpowered to stay together most of the time with such many advantages like insta healing/untrapping, coop moves, aggro possibilities etc

There's always something like the EMP bullet from current gen DA single player. Basically works like the sticky shocker does, but permanently. So you can disable a camera permanently for instance. I'd probably say you'd want to have ti so that the merc can shoot it off or something to reactivate the camera maybe, otherwise they might be broken.

Vega, you make me so proud.

Both of these coops are pretty slick. I love the camera one. I do feel that when the camera is disabled, it doesn't cause a "security failure". At the same time, the laser coop wouldn't b/c nothing is being shot out/chaffed, and the lasers are technically still on.

Maybe we should make a coop where 1 spy kind of bends slightly over and the other spy runs from behind him, jumps off his back to either grab a ledge or jump a merc. This coop could be accessible whenever pretty much.

I like your 'fast' Coop move for ledge grabbing. Might be a good solution for the current 'boost'.

Well, everyone was asking for a way to disable security systems silently so I applied the silent aspect to both coop moves.  I assumed since the spy is physically handling the camera with a special tool, opposed to violently shocking it, that a more silent approach would be easier to do.

I think the human ladder is pretty cool, but your move definitely sounds awesome.  It could be used for a variety of reasons and would look bad ass.

wow Vega im impressed you've actually contributed something useful then Vegg-atory Spam , im for the first idea . Definetly for it , reminds me of the shoulder move in Co-op mode for arming bombs in Seoul 3 :D .

-Thanks Murdy for da Sig <3  xD

They might need some tweaking, I like the mirror laser idea though.

Hell yea man. That would probably look SO sick on the Unreal engine.

There was a move in scct coop which allowed us to bash enemies or go through lasers i think.

I liked the move, too bad it wasn't as useful as it could have been.  Rolling through lasers is much easier so it makes that throwing move obsolete.

I thought that rolling was in SvM and throwing was on Co-oP...

i think the "spy climbing over another" is a little... how should i say this... lame! i'll try to draw the one i have in mind... but that's for later

its not really climbing over. Its jumping off the spies back. In the COOP of CT one spy would roll and the other would get launched. This is like a setup, jump, grab ledge/jumpmerc.

It doesn't seem that far fetched or dumb. Actually, it would be a really nice addition and a quick/aggressive move.
