I think he was referring to the human ladder... :P

Yes kok4f4n you are right.  But that is the reason it wasn't in SvM is because rolling was more useful than setting up the move then doing it.  How would that throwing move change gameplay if that would knock over a merc?

Standing on your partner's shoulders to reach something sounds like a decent idea. If it wasn't used for cams it could be used to hack a camera shutoff, or lights or anything of that nature. These kinds of hacks will of course already exists but some could be made highly beneficial and only reachable via co-op. They could even be made to provide access to a co-op route in another part of the map. Might be kinda fun :)

Now we're thinking!

How about CT's rappelling move where you can lower your partner via a rope?  You lower them from a ceiling or a vent opening to an objective where they can hack a panel or maybe a terminal?  Of course the vents you lower people down from would have to placed correctly enough to where a merc can or can't nade the person lowering them.  It would also have to be useful, and not one of those moves no one would ever use.

The standing on shoulders might be cool, again it would have to be useful and not something that is totally obsolete.

true, good ideas. but guys, good freakin luck coding all this!

They are good ideas. All of them. What we don't need is the attitude of "good luck fuckers." Maybe help out? Throw out some ideas how it would be easy to code this or offer assistance. Wouldn't you like to be part of something that could potentially could be fuckin sweet? Come on man....add good input or bad opinionation, but don't act snotty like that. You obviously knowa thing or 2, so help out.

Or imagine you could lower your mate so he can twist merc's neck when he's running under and all of this with spy in camo...mmm delicious

Yes, I realize it would be very difficult to do it because of dev's limited coding experience...just dreaming

It's more that the set-up would take 10 seconds, which can be used for other things like hacking that objective... And by just jumping the Merc, you save the time needed to set-up and coordinate such a move,

Well, then it wouldn't be lethal...

But I don't favor the idea too much... I wouldn't mind it, but I don't think it's worth the time.

Lowering your partner down on a rope sounds cool except for a few things

1. why wouldn't the spy just drop down and hack?

2. if the hack is located mid-way down a wall or tunnel/vent so he couldn't just drop down it would probably take to long for a spy to climb back up and avoid dying. Would kinda be a one way trip if you're playing against even 1 decent merc.

3. it sounds like ALOT of work to create it and given the risk of hacking such an objective I think most people would avoid it if the they didn't HAVE to hack it. I would if I had a good chance of dying.

4. The reward for getting this kind of objective would have to be pretty spectacular to make it worth the risk.

5. It more than likely wouldn't be feasible to work it into most maps as you wouldn't be able to provide something to make the risk worth it.

If it could be worked into all the maps it would be a fantastic idea, at this point though, it just sounds like a big headache for both coders and mappers. Just my 2 cents.

Edit: More Co-Op hacks sounds good though!

As long as coops are kept optional I don't care what's added. For example, the coops club and orphanage allow you faster and safer access to objectives, and the coops in factory give you access to shorter objectives at the risk of getting caught.

What should NOT be done are maps like Station and Aqua where cooping is a necessity to even get into the map.

As for the spies cooping to disable lasers, why not employ the CT coop style OCP?

That'd be kinda cool, though I'd be really worried that not producing a security failure message may make it too difficult for mercs to protect.

Spekkio

It'd produce a security failure, you just wouldn't get the audio queue of the SS.

Yeah I guess that could work.
