a little late but heres my idea of the merc model

this is an image of united states rangers . they use top of the line gear that would be availble to private military corporations provided they have the licensing , and im sure an devious pmc group could fake that .

take away the molle pouches on their backs and replace it with a detailed backplate and , to be perfectly honest and i know alot of you dont really like the sci-fi look of the current merc model , i think it would be a much better choice and take less time than the current model as well .

the things that i'd like to see redone with the merc model is the helmet (flat surface and maybe a fancy strap for mt360Ã,° glowing in the color of the vision so that one can see the mode from behind), the googles that come out when selecting mask (totally incoherent and ugly) and the useless shoulder plates (though they help for the kickass look). don't get me wrong, it's one of the best models i've seen so far and there's no real need to change anything.
i don't think that anything should be changed on the spy model, it's athletic and sci-fi :D

if you think im whining because i want my super awesome de-1337 mod to play with my idea of character models in it , youre wrong .

theres talk about entering the "make something unreal contest " and to be seriously honest the idea of the game and the player models dont match at all , and that counts for decisions in how well you guys do in that contest . fluidity is a virtue , not something you ignore and then say "well i already did it so fuck off ".

btw fruge , i know you love bein a nitpick to me by haunting my posts with "the final word on the mod" but i can find that elsewhere , you really annoy me , so please let someone more important answer .
