If UBI were to revert to CT style SVM and added alot of the things we had requested here, what would you do?
Go back to Splinter Cell or Stay here? What do you think would happen to PS?

I was just wondering, I'd personally buy SC but i'd still be waiting for this aswell and post here. What about you guys?

To play new SC i will have to change hardware and that means - no thx, Ill do it when PS comes out. Dont want to spend money on experimental crap.

I would buy both but I would probably end up playing PS just because it would have WAAY better community support than Ubi gives.  Plus you guys have a better vision than they do.  THey just want money, you guys want to give the community what they want.  I think that is awesome.

But it depends on who's is better! LOL  :D

Then I would say our mission was accomplished.

I would be saddened by that. I would really like to see this project come together, regardless of ubi does. Luckily it doesn't appear that ubi is looking back, so the project can continue!

Nm, I would always choose PS over another ubi game.  They just piss me off.  I hate their community support.

The only games I will buy from Ubi is Assassin's Creed and maybe Ghost Recon AW 3 if it ever comes out.  Also, Far Cry 2 looks awesome.  Never buying another SC game from them atleast.

fact of the matter is we cannot compete if they chose to release a sequel to CT,  it would steal our player base.

Gawain

WE (sclamers) are the player base. 100 vets are good enough for hundreds of ggs. i honestly don't expect this mod to become popular and well known quickly, the game concept is far too complex for that (dystopia any1?).

Spekkio

I would honestly hope that PS development continues. Ubi's track record speaks for itself: Even if they release a true SvM sequel, the game will be riddled with bugs and unsupported.

but to get 100 people online,  you easily need 500  that play the game at least 1 day a week.

Use the bell curve to calculate a ratio of experienced players and the average skill level of a casual gamer.

I am personally committed to getting this project to at least a beta stage.  Reality is that  I cannot do this project alone,  and it would be naive to think that the entire dev team can reailistically commit for a long period of time.

As long as we retain enough people with the proper skill sets I'm here till it's done.

So now, you can say, basing on what you see, that theres a high possibility ps is not gonna be finished ?

No what hes saying is , everyone can't be working no stop fulltilt because if you do then obviously your gunna run out of gas =drive /determination.
