Keep in mind that there was never any threats from Ubisoft, nor do we intend to piss off Ubisoft on purpose or anything of the sort. There was just some confusion going on in regards to what was thought was happening.

I don't really care how you play the game. I do wish that connections could be inter-platform, but we're too retarded as a society to get this goin.

It already is,  but microsoft requires membership.  Also,  the game has to support inter platform playing.

only for 360 though....

I am not sure about how it is done with PS3.

UT engine  does have some info on porting to PS3 btw.  How that will be done I do not know yet,  but I will certainly consider it a possibility that we port to PS3 if it is technically possible.

I wonder how many people own a PS3 and would jump for PS. Are you guys doing some sort of free advertising for the mod?

goodkebab

to soon to tell,  but doubtless there will be to do so

Farley4Fan

I'm sure there would be a lot of both PS3 and 360 users that would play this game.

goodkebab

There will doubtless be a great number of TC mods and even custom maps for PS3 games that will be compatable with the PC.

Its all very new ,  and UT 3 has only been released in parts of europe anyways so its just a matter of time.

I wouldn't even waste a ounce of time on consoles I think it would cause way to many problems just my opinion (coming from splinter cell xbox player).

Farley4Fan

Well I don't think they would anyways.

A straight port over to the PS3 would not be difficult per say. However, the development time would be needed to accommodate the PS3's hardware. Meaning, depending on how intense Project Stealth turns out to be, it might or might not run well on PS3 off the bat.

It would then be up to the development team to consider weather or not (or when) we would decide (if ever) to allow a port to the console(s).

Farley4Fan

There are more players who played CT online on xbox and they were probably a lot better than playstation 2 players.  So if you ever did port it you should do it on the box, it would be a lot more successful.  And that's not just because I play 360 lol

Tidenburg

Any xbox splinter cell player would be smart enough to know how much better the console version was when it came down to glitches and just generally working, splinter cell DA proved that even more...

goodkebab

It probably wont be possible at all to port to 360 because Ut doesnt support it

That's correct. However, at the moment that is currently only because the Xbox 360 version will not be completed until sometime after the new year. Epic has stated they will do anything possible to allow for content on Xbox 360, but it seems to be a certification issue.
