3d and 2d software suggestions and help for PS fans

i have gotten an email requestin help in finding the right software to produce 3d models , and i also am fluent in photoshop and can help out some of you fans who arent on the dev team pass the time and learn something positive with games and animation .

so just post here and i will do my best to help you out .

ok heres my latest with max , not nearly polished yet but im working it into a "nurms subdivision -ready" state where i can paint in musculature and other hi-res details like fabric and skin texture and boot and jeans details .

also the materials in there are stretched from the subdivision , and it has no skin applied , no texture file assigned .



while i am no master , im sure a beginner could benefit from the stuff i know , like links to tutorials and what to do when the tutorials dont cover somethign you wish to do yourself once you've learned the UI , etc .

Why did you remove the entry in your hosts file...
If you send me your C:\windows\system_32\drivers\etc\hosts (or something) file, I'll make sure you don't get tempted to visit PS again. It's only got shortcuts to bypass DNS data, so it's safe.

well i never deleted anything i just stopped coming by .

to be perfectly honest theres only a few people here i can deal with .

on the other hand someone pm'd me on the reason account on a mail i hardly ever use asking for advice and help with 3d ... you are all busy and god forbid you deny yourselves of your " end of the line for this job , pal " endulgence then i think i could atleast use the forums correctly to benefit those who wish to learn game art .

up to you if you dont want me back but ill make very few posts here except for the people who would want info on what apps to use and how ot use them , i taught myself i know the steps to becoming an intermediate modeler/skinner . only difference from me and a pro is i refuse to do it the mainstream way , id rather find a new way and own the business rather than work under it .

and now all posts will be made with watered down defensive snaps in them if i am bothered but nothing serious .
