I have intermittent internet disconnections about every 5 minutes mostly when I am playing games, and very rarely just when I'm doing other stuff. What could my problem be, and how can I fix it? I have a linksys router and a surfboard modem, if it matters I have a 8600gt. 3.2 ghz processor (not sure which model, but it's an amd and it's bran new) and an (also bran new) Asus motherboard. If possible... help  :-\

Also, I have noticed that a lot of Splinter Cell fans have also turned to the new game TF2. Personally, I believe that is a great game, and that a few features from it could be added into PS. Not sure which exactly, but with a little discussion, I'm sure we can come up with an agreement, and some ideas.

thanks.

I haven't gotten around to get the orange box, but I probably will.  Does that game require tactics/teamplay?  Because I know it is just run and gun, but I know that there is some CTF aspect and whatnot.  Especially from the vids I've seen it mostly looks like halo and the incredibles had a baby.  But, if a lot of the splinter cell community turned to it it must have some need for tactics right?

Well, the game can be won without team work, however a team with cooperation beats a team without. Team work is the only strategy I can think of. Other than that, it's a pretty fast paced action game, a little goofy and a lot of fun.

If you have another computer connected to your router, does it get disconnected too?

Teamplay, yes, but tactics, not really. It doesn't really have any indepth recon or anything. Mostly you just get together a decent mix of classes and keep pounding away at the enemy. Usually some of your men play defense, while others play offense, so there's some strategy there. But it doesn't really have any counters and doesn't really require any recon.

hahahaha
The thing is, in CT, the spy can put a spy bullet on his partner and then remove it. Why merc's can't do this?
