Many of us ever thought they could create a map in the UT3 Engine. If you have the game here is your chance to contribute to this project. I'll write here some useful links to learn how this Engine works and in a couple of days or weeks, it depends how fast you learn, you will be ready to have a lot of fun creating stuff.

Here we go!
Textual tutorials:
http://waylon-art.com/LearningUnreal/UE3-01-BasicNavigation.htm

A lot of Video tutorials on Stage6.com (1/10):

Concerning the "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Editor", here it is:
http://splintercell.uk.ubi.com/versus_mode.php

You will find enough documentation here to start.

If you want to contribute, but you do not really feel at ease with that kind of stuff, I could have something for you.

SKETCHUP 6

This is an amazing and friendly user Tool to SketchUp your ideas and to show it here and maybe another person will find it great enough to make it for real in the UT3 Engine, etc.

If I find more documentation about the Engine for the fans I'll post it all here. The more we will have great maps, greater it will be :D.

Or you could buy the collectors edition of the game, and get a boatload of tutorials, instead of streaming the 10 or 15 that are on stage six.

Thanks hyrage!  I'm itching to get my hands on a decent editor.  I used to love making maps with the far cry editor.  I've got some good visions in my head also.  Like the jungle map I've drawn up in my interactive maps thread.  Can't wait to get that playable!

It's a pleasure ^^,
I think that UE3 will become one the the most usefeul Editor in one year from here and a great training for UE4 that is actually in the works.

I have a project in my head and a training for this is necessary. The Knowledge of UE technologies would be necessary and a lot of Devs like Ubisoft and many others are using UE technologies OR using their new updated home engine using a lot of similarities from the UE technologies.

Can't wait to master it they way I mastered Hammer, but it's always a matter of time... good time  :D .
