Hey Zed, you might want to post quickly, you've got 666 posts right now lol.  Nice gun.  Too heavy for the mercs to lug around all the time.  I prefer sniping while airsofting, and flashlights don't help too much cuz they give away your position.

How about giving merc's more ways to cover objecives??
What i mean is:
- Sniping from half the map away (some spots, take ~30s to get there from spawn + no headshot available)
- Securing with mines/ explosives.
- Cutting off routes with additional deployed security.
- Patrolling.
+ Add more here.
Now how about an optional function-system that would give you different objectives (+ preset loadout), depending on the main gun you choose. This would make it easier for new players, since you would get clear instructions on what you have to do, like:
"Get to obj.A and secure it (+ some hint for morons, like) [WITH YOUR FUCKING MINES]"
"Get to the main Sniping point and cover obj.B at all cost"
"Prevent the intruders from reaching sector C [WITH YOUR SPYTRAPS AND MINES]"

Maybe even consider locking objectives through camnet for 30 seconds, but ONLY on maps like factory or bigger.

With a good tutorial that everyone has to go through that isn't needed liquid.  And lmao: {with your fucking mines you noob!}  :D

Im 100% sure that many people won't even notice that there IS a tutorial.

They would if you integrate a ghost system into the maps. Only allow one map when the user starts and then once they've played it twice they can use the others. If you have ghosts on some maps near all the places they need them and prompts which pop-up they could learn as they play.

why do you want to help those retards?
and why not simply make the tutorial mandatory?

and why not simply make the tutorial mandatory?
Because then you have to do it again if you reinstall.

You could make it so that the first time you start PS you have a HUGE button saying "TUTORIAL" and a small one saying "skip tutorial".

Gawain

make it bigger and blinking and if you dont press the small skip button within 5s the tutorial starts *g*

Farley4Fan

Were you being sarcastic when you said "why do you want to help those retards?"

If you weren't then that was an idiotic statement.   You want to help them so there is bigger competition in the community and you won't ever get stuck with a teammate that doesn't even know where the generators are on Polar Base.

dude people that are new to svm but don't play the tutorial are such stupid that they will never ever be competition for me XD

You're so SO good.::)

On CT on xbox it's required to take the tutorial, how can you not?  Even on PC I had to.  Yeah, we'll have to take it if it's required in PS.  So what.
