Public Discussion / Re: Merc Aiming Sensitivity

hm. I've just always thought that feeling bulky and slow, with slow sensitivity, was a huge disadvantage to the merc. And giving him full range of that movement gives him more advantage.

I just think its harder on the spy. While sneaking passed a merc with his back turned, the merc could easily turn around in an instant.

Im not sure; maybe I just haven't played the PC version enough, but I see this as a big deal.

I've seen talk about how the spy ran too slow in CT. I don't believe so at all; I believe that its that the Merc could look around wayy to fast!

I've been playing the Xbox SvM for 5 years. I started to play CT on the computer because it has more options and more people that seem to play it. I was COMPLETELY turned off to the PC version because of how the Merc plays like any other FPS. They don't even have to watch their back as much because they can turn around in a complete instant. I just don't quite see how fair that is, and I do personally believe this game is designed with the console gamer in mind (look at how much Ubisoft has ignored PC gamers).

And yeah, I know the mouse is a lot more accurate at aiming and all that. But I can still headshot the hell out of everyone with my SMG on the xbox, anyone I've played could tell you that.

Idk, I just don't have interest in the PC version for that reason, and was wanting to start a discussion about it. I'm assuming Mercs will be like that in PS too huh..

why would random powerups even be considered! I thought you guys were better than that lol. It takes away from strategy and is more of the luck of the draw. I don't want no computer deciding the outcome of the game for me. C'mon now.

If its really a popular suggestion to add airdrops of random powerups (like a RUN AND GUN brainless game MW2), than I would suggest in making another gametype possibly, based around..random powerups. Or something lol.

Just my opinion

Is the Merc's positioning going to be the same..I guess what I'm saying is-
is the Merc still going to be more vulnerable on his left side?
Are spys still quiet as long as they're crouched?
Will this mod be released in 2010? (seems to me like this mod isn't much of a priority for anyone, so)
Can you donate to the Devs?(I'd rather pay for this game and have it quicker, I don't care if its free, I'd pay big bucks for an updated, bug-free CT-style MP)

So there is a chance for this to come to consoles?
Would there be a chance of plugging a 360 controller in via USB to play PS?

I just don't like playing with the keyboard
IMO: mouse>controller, Keyboard<controller

Public Discussion / Re: Gadget ideas

I think that slowly increasing the spy health after being healed won't change the gameplay as much, which is why I think it should be implemented. Sure, the spy will have to be cautious for a few more seconds. I think heath kit placement is also pretty important.

as far as gadgets, mercs should get a gadget called Bubble Wrap, where they could place on the floor where they see fit. And no matter how slow a spy is going, if the spy steps on the bubble wrap, it makes noise on the Merc sound detector. effing sick idea!!!!!!!!!

...........lol
