Reason, here you see why you start with a naked body for almost every human character. Clothing will look much more natural.

i still dont get why you would model all the nudity in it first ? dont you have to delete that anyways ?

Because the genitals also have a volume that needs to be accounted for I think. In realistic modeling that is.

lol , i meant why the nude body with muscles if only certain parts of the body;'s muscles will be visible in the final resuly , example , the thinghs  , does it help alot to model each mass of muscle in each section ?
