Papa: So your only argument is "it will never happen that everyone will say yes"?

Well, gee, I suppose I should start worshiping you now, considering you're omniscient and all.

Actually, since you've proved so many times that you have no idea what sarcasm is, I'll put it in easier words: You can not know. There, did you understand that?

Hyrage: I see where you're coming from, but sometimes unexpected things happen. We can't foresee everything.

Gawain

hyrage, your point is based on the assumption that people are perfect and make total commitments when going "ready" by making sure that nothing unexpected in the world can interrupt them. this would be the ideal case, but it simply doesn't work this way. i can see your concern that with this feature more people who aren't really committed to the 12min press "ready", but i wouldn't vote for the break playing whith smurfers or people that are known for taking long breaks regularily anyways.

I'm a way more concerned about the time the Dev Team is going to pass on this instead of something else lolll. If we could have this feature, well I'm not going to vote YES until someone is dying, simple because I care about "wasted time". I hate selfishness, sorry to say that, but I have to admit it.

As someone said, I agree that you engage youself by pressing "ready up". For sure, you are right... it can happen to anyone one day or another that he has to go for one minute or two... but you have to learn to live with these kind of consequences and... it's just a game. It shouldn't even be tolerated during a Clan Match.

But this feature could be usefull if by exemple 6pm arrived and everyone must go to eat. On this I assure you I agree with you...the feature become truly useful, but you could jsut finish the game instead of stopping it lol.

Fixed, typo I suppose.

Actually, I'm quite sure he meant "shouldn't..."

Care to comment on how much effort it would take to implement something like this, Lennard?

i think it's pretty easy to implement.
for me, playing with only half of the opponents or without my mate is wasted time, too.

Hyrage

I guess that this is why you can go back to the lobby ^^.

Games can easily be arranged over xfire. I dont see the need for this gamestop thing. And it can disrupt your flow if you like. Sometimes as spy, if im playing well i get into a sortof groove :P.

which wouldn't save me any waiting time but destroy the whole round.

Hyrage

Exactly, so don't you want to keep playing?

it's pretty much pointless to play with one player missing, but you probably don't understand this as a player who favors dm...

Well I guess you are totally right and I even suggest you to read this work before saying anything that could  embarrassed you more than what you could already do.

Click Here - no, it isn't about CT

Deathmatch and Story Mode are two totally different gametypes using the same mechanics in a complete different way. If you can't accept the fact that both Gametypes are great because YOU prefer one, this is your opinion. I prefer Deathmatch as you know, but I'll not trashtalk you because you do not see how deep a deathmatch is even in a Splinter Cell game.

Lmao...  You know as well as I do that that's not my only argument, you just refused to acknowledge the others.  And besides, that's a pretty good argument anyways and renders your only one completely useless.

If you want to worship someone who thinks he is omniscient, you best go with Rambo, I don't have time for any toe-kissers.

It's pretty easy to tell if people will vote yes or no, even right now, just take 1 quick peek at the thread Cyntrox.  You'll see most people won't.  And in any game I play in there will be no such thing as a pause because I will always vote no, as will a lot of others.

If something that is important unexpectedly comes up, then why the fuck are you playing CT?  FORGET ABOUT IT!  If it's that important, drop the friggin keyboard and take care of it.  It's game for crying out loud.  Let's be serious now Cyntrox.

Pointless eh?  Good practice, much more fun than waiting with your freaking body frozen, etc...  Not to mention that it doesn't mean the round is ruined if someone had to take 20 second bathroom break. What's pointless is Chaos Theory if something important comes up.  Or what's even more pointless is wasting everyone's time by taking a shit with 10 minutes left, not only that, but the person could be constipated - taking up 5-10 minutes at least.  :D What if he forgets about the game that he made everyone pause?  He/She pauses the game and takes care of business but gets so wrapped up in his/her business that he/she forgets about everyone leaving them all in a frozen state.  There are so many bad things that could happen with this.  It's stupid.

You know guys, you can always replay the round.  If you care about 1 round getting fucked up enough to implement some crazy feature because some random guy out there realized he left his cake in the oven for too long, then I honestly don't know what to tell ya.  Too bad, the guy should have had a timer on his oven.
