Kurbutti, someone isn't going to pause it because of network probs.  As all you have said it's because they have to piss.

Kurbutti

Why do you think technical problems appear in the connection? You've also made good job making no sense to me with your last post.

THIS WILL NOT WORK! LETS JUST LEAVE IT! PEOPLE CLAIMING THEY WILL STOP IF SOMEONE STARTS A PAUSE VOTE, ARE LYING, EVENTUALLY THEY WILL GET PISSED OFF THAT IT HAPPENS EVERYGAME AND JUST VOTE NO!

CAPSLOCK FTW!

Gawain

they don't have to vote no, just vote yes if they want to freeze it (or create a backup point). and yes there are people like me and kurbutti that would rather want to freeze a good game then have it broken.

Farley4Fan

Oh, you want to not have a round be broken?  Here's a clue:  DON'T FUCKING READY UP.  There is a reason you have to ready up to start the game.  When you ready up you commit to the 12 mins, that's it.  If you can't commit don't ready up.  And besides, for the 20th time, it's a game, big deal if you lose because some guy was AFK for a minute.  Even then a round isn't completely destroyed, especially if the guy goes quickly.

Technical problems whether they are connection problems, hardware problems, whatever, who cares?  It's a game.  I'd rather be able to play than have some guy throw me in a giant box so he can take his blueberry muffins out of the god damned oven.  Most people here feel the same way.

Drop this idea, lock the thread, it's going nowhere, same garbage over and over again.  Saying my posts aren't valid just because you refuse to believe them.

yes it is a game, and i enjoy the beautify of it just like a good chess round. and this beauty get's destroyed when some1 goes afk...

@papa: your point is fucking invalid because i don't say you should ready up when you're not ready, i say you should be able to freeze a good game when something unexpected happens. in the case u didn't notice: it's just a game, and therefore people don't have to make 100% sure that no1 calls them etc.

Oh no it's not invalid.  If something unexpected happens and it's important, then the game becomes automatically unimportant, simply because of the fact that it's a game.  In the case that YOU didn't notice, it's just a game, so drop this fucking idea because it simply shows that you care about the results of every single round - and that's pathetic to me.

i don't care about the result, i care about the beauty of a good game that only happens when 4 players of about the same level play competitively.

Xris

I concur, good games, even if you lose, are better then easy games vs noobs when you always win

Games are artwork, but are you really going to call a good match "beauty"?  I call it fun and exciting, but whatever.  You still have those same 4 players for the next round.  You can see the "beauty" next round when some dumbass isn't AFK.  Besides, if someone is AFK for 20 secs or so to take a piss it doesn't automatically "ZFOMG HOLY SH1t" destroy the round.  There's not a whole lot that spies can do in 20 secs especially considering they don't even know that the 2nd merc is AFK.  And there's nothing that mercs can do to spies who hide in the spawn for 20 secs.  That's why I'd rather have the 1 20 sec timeout per team ordeal, but I grow tired of explaining simple stuff that won't annoy players.
