Ah, I hate GTA4. It's so addictive after you finish the first 20 minutes of the game. The whole system has been completely redone and the realism with which the citizens react to all the shit going on around them is great, the game uses Euphoria instead of ragdolls so the car crashes and being hit by cars in general is all dynamic and looks awesome. Where im up to in the career the shit has really just hit the fan, I only planned to do this one mission I was playing but emerged 3 hours later from my living room because I needed food :P

Its a love/hate relationship.

Yes, the Euphoria engine is awesome, I "accidentally" hit a person on a motorbike last night, and he went flying, also, ramping boats of the docks is really funny, and the helicopter flying is awesome. (This was all in multiplayer last night, I'm not too far in the campaign atm.)

I made a tripping and headshot animation in Endorphin, which uses the technique they used in GTA4 to create the random death when hitting with cars :P

Check them out here:

PS. It's the UT3 skeleton.

Oh, I forgot..... BOOM HEADSHOT!

None of those screens really show the layout, at all.  Looks good though and you should put it in the presenation forum.

How about leaving the walldodge in the game for Deathmatch (spies only)?

I think it could be a nice idea.
What about having a rappel hook only for the mercs. Quick, easy to use and you could use it anywhere but it's for downfall only, to for climbing. The ability to climb should remain for the Spy only. So you would have to stuck your hook to a wall and go where you want. The physics will automatically interact with the hook user if he jump down somewhere. This includes the the mercs jump higher enough to passe over a few things.

Having this kind of rappel hook gives more opportunity for the gameplay and improve the flow of the game. In DA by example, the mercs could use specific rappel lines... it becomes quickly repetitive.

Well, it's just an idea ^^ like many many others.

Project Stealth mostly takes part in the inside of buildings (like Lakehouse), the only place you would be able to do any kind of walldode would be in the main hall and dock (and no crazy spy would walk right in the open there). All other rooms are rather to low in height to do one.

I was using a lot the wall-flip move. If you take back an example of the old Club House, there is many areas inside the building where you can perform that kind of move, but this is my style... not yours so I can't tell if Wall-Dodge would really be useful for everybody.

The flip is an other technique than the dodge. Dodge basicly bumps you off the wall quite a distance, the maps don't offer you that room. While the wall-flip is upwards and not as far as a dodge, besides, we probsbly make it to only work when you have to room for it (so no wall-flip in small spots).
