I think SCL's policy is better than having a tight set of rules. People who act like idiots are treated as such, and it's really not that hard to ignore those people. Don't know about you, but I'm not overly disturbed by the spammers. I'm not saying we shouldn't have any limits, but simply from my own exprience, letting people fade out is a better way of dealing with them than banning them temporalrily or permanently.

It all depends on the post, you can only define flaming by the circumstances surrounding it, but as someone said before the SCLamers policy is perfectly fine.

SCLamers works only for relatively small groups. I'd say 50 active people is the maximum.
When we release more stuff and get more fans, the freedom will probably decrease slightly. Not that much ;)
