It's a stealth-based game, set in WW2. You're a female spy with some cool moves.
I dont know about the quality yet. It sells on Steam for 40 euros, which is better than the normal 45 or 50.

I'll let you know my thoughts in about 15 hours I think (I want a hard-copy of the game, not just the Steam version).

Ordered at play.com but fucked up a credit card number thing so I got suspended, and their stupid customer support didnt work to resolve it (tried calling internationally for like 6 times = expensive)-> order cancelled.

Now got it ordered and should be delivered in 2 weeks for 37 euros.

lol you both suck , I have it already and I must say the finishers on this are amazing and well everything despite all the controversy that people talked about with the use of the knife , it has it all xD  put it that way :) , and the silencer sounds realistic, doesn't have that 007 sound effect when you get the silenced pp7  , but more of a muzzled real silencer feel xD

Velvet Assassin is a poor man's Splinter Cell. Some things it gets right, other things it fails at.
100% stealthing is not always possible, and it's also not the point of the game, which is a pity.

I rate it around 6/10 to 6.5/10 . If you can get it for cheap, it's ok. Else it's probably overpriced.
