What about just inserting a picture? Saves me from learning how to make the HTML5 Canvas element interactive. And rewriting the forum front-end code in HTML5 altogether. :p

Nah, Do it the other way.

But make sure you don't skimp on the drawing tools. I want Photoshop type quality. None of this MSPaint pre Windows 7 BS that some people try to pass off.

Blur effect, Smudge Effects, Repositioning, Layers, and at least 14 different brush types.

Hop to it. I'm expecting this Forum update ASAP.

Must be nice and fluid on how you can differentiate that you want to draw your post rather than type (or BOTH!).

AAAAAAAAAND make sure it keeps normal dimensions of Forum posts so that we don't get someone that has to scroll for 3 days to see the whole picture.
