PCSX2 - A Playstation 2 emulator

Have you guys ever heard of PCSX2?

I'm currently going through MGS3 Subsistence for the 2nd time - great game IMO.

My PC stats are:
CPU - E8400
Graphics - Nvidia GTX 285
RAM - 4 gb
OS - Win XP: Home (Works with vista\win 7)

I'm averaging 40 to 50 fps through most of the game only one of the boss fights slows down.  Water and some reflections don't render correctly but it's perfectly playable.

I just love MGS series but the 3rd and 4th one were never released for PC.  I searched on Google one day to see if there was a way to play MGS3 on my PC and this was what I found. :P

So why don't you chug down a chill pill and go about your business.

MEH. I tried God of War and Castlevania: Lamant of Innocence (physical DVDs) and it couldn't play either. It would'nt get past the title screen on GoW and castlevania was unplayablely slow.

I was just experimenting for the funz anyway, I have a real PS2.

I believe it only works properly with an ISO :P
The GDS9 video plugin will also improve your performance.

I don't have anything to do with this Emulator's development, I have never even talked to the people that make it, on forums or otherwise.  I believe I've clarified this in an above post.

See, I'm a PC and Xbox gamer, not really a playstation dude, so I have never been able to play MGS3 until I found this emulator - through Google search.

I just figured that there are probably other MGS fans around here who don't have playstations, or at least not anymore.  So being the generous person that I am I made this thread.
It worked for me, so it will work for others, obviously and  ::) apparently not everyone.  But how the heck is that my fault.

And FYI my thread isn't spam, this is the first and probably last PCSX2 thread I'll ever make on any forum.
So p-p-p-p-piss off back at ya. :D

he has nothing to do with the emulator, and it's not crappy, even though it didn't work for me, it still worked well enough for me to see the potential of it. Hell if he was involved in it's creation I would want him on PS.

Other than that PCSX2 is an awesome program I've been following a few years.
