this UI is by far the best. I'm all for it being the final overall look. Will need to be tweaked later of course.

i prefer seefoo's ui, because it's really cleaned up and got nice intuitive symbols instead of buttons with text.
compare the lobbies side by side and ask yourself where you can find your way more quickly. the redundant text, graphics n stuff are getting on my nerves after a quite short amount of time.

this one is as far as I'm concerned, the most polished, the best layouted and has the best functions need. Plus it has a little similarity with CT's UI, thus people won't be completye lost and have to learn a whole need thing.

I think seefoo's is cleaner. But they are all of high quality. L3D's also has a cool idea.

yeah i'm quite astonished about the professional results, especially in this short time (they have to do it in their free time). no matter which one will be taken, it is far better than ct's ui.

I tried to keep up with the other two, but my quality just isn't as good. I just can't help feel overwhelmed with tigaer's UI and underwhelmed by seefoos. To be honest, they need to be merged, taking the best parts from each and putting them together to create the ultimate UI. I've slowly started to combine them but have not had much free time. (I watched Scarface instead and Transformers). Tonight I'll be making a better effort.

maybe they could post the photoshop files or at least give them to daybreak?

Daybreak

I'm pretty good at copypasting.

I think thats a pretty good idea, me and seefoo should give eachother our psd files and swap them around for a collab UI.

i dont mind sharing ideas and combining them to make a good UI.  i mean it's already happened that we are sharing graphics.  my icons that i drew in illustrator are on your layout amoung other things.  so as far as source files, im don't think we need to do that.

anyhow your lobby has too much stuff going on for my taste.  too much lines goin on everywhere.  im picturing the server lobbies with that style of framing...will just be madness.  there will be even more text on that page.  i've already tried with the target framing and it is too much i just scrapped it (just for the buttons would be good and some minor light corners).  also whats with the ghost recon circle patterns everywhere?  next, i have a hard time navigating and the text is fighting with design.  there is no focus and dont know what to look at 1st - .  button orders dont seem right (i.e. am i to launch game before i change equipment?)  last, about the showing of teammate equipment.  what if one merc comes to spy, he will see your equipment.  already thought of a way around this but dont know if its possible.
