Project Stealth - Limited C4's?

Do you think there should be limited amounts of C4's a spy can carry for the bomb objectives?

I personally think yes, why? It can be irritating when a spy camps a bomb area, and can hide in some rooms and wait till Mercenary leaves the area and the spy places the bomb again, which frankly is a big distraction, since 1 Spy can Kite 1 Merc, and get other objectives by Taze and Run.

In my opinion 5 C4's per each Spy should be way more than enough, and should not be refilled upon death, because that way there would be no point in a limit at all, since noone would place a bomb 20 times depending how many lives you get.

As well as, Since Mercenaries are going to get weakened in Project Stealth in comparison of SCCTVersus it would be quite fair I guess.

Comment of what you think about this idea.

For example we have 4 goals to do. But if we havent got c4 than we can do only 3.So we cant do 1 objectiv and merc have smaller area to defend. For me  it is a bad idea.

That where you have to think of how to use it, that where Teamwork comes in, as well as it makes you think of where to put the bomb, and predict where a mercenary is comming from.

Defending a bomb can be made several ways at same time.

Placing a Sticky.C

Throwing grenades into a fake spot

Tazing a Mercenary as soon as he comes, that way you might have a chance of doing so again.

Using Aggresive actions with your teammate.

It's not really unbalanced if you think about it, of course the bomb will have to have a change on it's timer since I do agree if a bomb has a 30 second timer to blow up, well then that will be ridicilous, otherwise it should be fair since this game should make you feel like you are doing something that reacts with everything, and it's for the best in my opinion, wouldn't you want to have an adrenaline rush when you win? I would.

A cooldown timer on that objective would be better. Like 5-10 secs. Gives the Merc more time to kill the Spy who is unable to do anything useful.

I think one way to make this idea more feasible is if the spy could place multiple bombs at once but I don't see that happening.

Your problem with spies camping in some room can be solved with some decent map making  :)

Well as I said it was only a suggestion, + For it to work, the bomb objectives on the maps have to be easily controled by mercenaries. As well as it should be done in a small simple map, not Clarity Soft map.

But I can still see potential in this idea by myself. Or maybe one of the developers go crazy hopefully, and evolve it into something.

Clarity is weird map if one of mercs fail then you lost objective or a few for sure.

I don't personally like the idea, it just seems unnecessary. Ideas shouldn't be added for the sake of complexity, I don't think either idea solves any current problem, I actually think they would both cause unnecessary, unjustified frustration. What reason would there be to warrant the addition of either concept? I understand the complaint with camping, but at the end of the day you should be able to take out the spy if they are staying in the same area with relative ease, and they have to move on at some point or they wont win anyway.

Modems.

/thread

Modems used to be so much fun, especially on the pipe outside 212! Anyway, Robbie modems were devices spies placed on walls in line of sight of the terminals. Once they were planted they begun hacking and if the modem was shot before the hacking was complete then the progress reset. You also only had only one modem but they could be restocked at an ammo box.
