I was super good at CT back in the day, but I played on Xbox. From what I understand, the mercs are even better on PC since you can actually adjust your aiming sensitivty (on Xbox, there is only 1 speed which is kinda sluggish to help balance out spies and mercs).

You can get ridiculous sound hardware+good headphones and hear spies anywhere in the map if they're moving faster than a slow crouch too.

It's pretty ridiculous tbh.

And if you are in 50 feet and a mercenary has a nametag of Knooger, even crouch won't help you.
