Anyone here that can help me out?

It works fine on X fire and everything but Chaos theory I can talk but other people talking only comes out through my speakers, I have tried everything, even the configuration utility, but that utility won't let me set my headset as the voice output device.

Why not use Xfire one? The voice on versus is shit and is not worth it, + the whole crap about "Listening your opposite team for tactics" is bull****. Xfire is a lot better.

well to you, but I feel its better tactically , its not about listening to your opponents communication,
its the principal of not being allowed to talk to your partner while your dead so that they have to think on thier own and not be guided like some puppet, it breaks the strategy of the game.

-Thanks Murdy for da Sig <3  xD

Agent@You are probably one of the 10 people in the whole wide world that does care for that.

Packerton@ Have you tried making your sensitivity higher in-game and also have you tried with different microphones?

one should never assume. It only ends in disaster.

I also care about it, thats 2 already a helluva lot more then 10, I also hate EAX for that matter, super hearing gives the spies a huge disadvantage if you want to play stealthy but anyway thats not the point of this topic.

How do I set the mic as a recording device? In audio settings in the control panel I have it set as the input and output device for voice but that never worked.

I know, you can learn it from here: http://community.projectstealthgame.com/forums/index.php/topic,2840.0.html

It just shows how assuming can get you embarassed on the whole forum.

@Packerton, nothing you can do about EAX. Community accepts it, so either quit or be a man and deal with it :)

AgentX_003

your so dumb , I didn't assume anything  so i don't even know how that relates , Im sorry if your simple mind
can't retain information / decipher advice / old sayings =)

Why do you two always and up bitching each other and derailing a topic, both of you, shut the fuck up. It has happened in nearly every single topic of the last few weeks, god.

Stop being childish which only makes the two of you look like complete fools and stop creating bait for each other.

If only I could lock this topic...

Just because no one with moderator/admin rights have enought power to ban once or twice.
I hope there will be better moderating after release or I'm not gonna visit this forums anymore.

PS. If you are afraid to ban people then give me just rights to do it, I'm gonna put that forums on normal friendly and user-like way then.

LennardF1989

I was going to say just that (sort of). We need a lucid, normal non-dev moderator with balls. That way it's not US banning or editing a topic, but the moderator. As I have a feeling currents mods are indeed afraid to get called "Ubi" or make enemies.

puuusianka

LoL if you really want it Lennard then Knooger is the right person. He would ban even me if I were bashy ;P

No, I love you :P But let's help that guy..

You have to open control panel - audio - and set up recording and playback device to your soundcard/Mic(if u have USB microphone)
Is your microphone working in Teamspeak/Xfire/Skype/another game? Maybe you have to enable it in your soundcard drivers ( probably placed in tray near clock ).

Its a USB Microphone, Logitech to be exact. I did set it as the voice input output device in my control panel (Windows XP) and i can't find any extra options anywhere like you mentioned.
