I rape at CT and DA on the box. I've lost CT (yes I know it's against god but what you gonna do?) but I would happily own any of you at the suckage of DA some time.

lol  I would play if it wouldn't keep kicking me out of games for no reason or if it would stop freezing in game.  Or if it didn't have the rubber band effect after every animation.  Or if the gameplay wasn't that shallow, and there were gadgets.  Other than that it would be an okay game, still not as good as CT of course.  We should all have a see who can stay in the game the longes w/o getting disconnected competition lol

Believe it or not, using your teammate helps you stay unnoticed.  To answer the question about staying hidden in Greek:  The way you do it is have your teammate standby at the coop move in the back near the disc drop.  Put spy bullets all around, on all entrances.  As soon as you see a spy bullet pick up a merc, you run back and do the coop move and hide in the rafters till they leave, or you exit through the tech room vents.  From there you can procede to any other objective, and have your partner stay and hack greek while you do something else.  All it takes is strategy, and I use the same strategy everytime I play Aqua.

The hardest problem with greek is just getting inside. You're not going to be able to get by the lasers at the front door + a poison mine across without at least triggering a security failure, and hell, likely there's already a merc waiting for you in greek anyway.

The real question is: where are the mercs when you're setting up this 1337 coop system going? I mean, they're just going to let you chaff the entrance to greek then run to the back and set up a coop boost without any hacking? Where exactly do you expect the two mercs to be? Patrolling outside of office and the fish tank room?

And how the hell do you keep stealthy when there are only 3 objectives left? Also keep in mind that 2 out of 5 objectives on aqua are disk objectives. Getting undetected with a disk is nearly impossible, unless your opponents are too newb to understand the radar.

The easiest way I have found to get into greek is to use the tech room vent and get on the rafters above.  You don't have to chaff to get past the lasers, you just roll through the gaps in them.  You can do that in the pc version right?  You just have your teammate take the disc in the office, then wait for the merc to leave greek ( More than likely the merc and greek will go through the tunnel and go find your partner ).  When he leaves greek, chaff the place, walk up with your gun, remove mines or whatever you wanna do.  Then, you put spy bullets on every entrance.  Hack as much as you can until you get blip on your radar, hide in the back or go through the pirates to greek hallway.  That is my strategy on how to infiltrate and exfiltrate greek.  It works most of the time.

1: A poison mine makes sure you'll get hit when diving through.
2: Most mercs don't go to office when the disk is taken.
3: You're seen/heard by EAX when you run to the back of Greek.
4: You'll have to chaff/shoot-lasers-out the way to Pirates, because the climb-up next to it is too slow.
5: Remember that Mercs can hear that Spy Bullets are shot. We can even tell your position with relatively good accuracy ;)

Is anyone actually able to robb through the lasers in greek that are just up the stairs while coming from the tunnel?

if you mean 'roll'... yes.

1. No one puts poison mines in the hallway from pirates to greek.
2. In my experience, the one in greek usually does.
3. They would hear you run, but since they don't see it they have no idea in what direction you did run to.
4. It is slow, but it is faster than chaffing or shooting the lasers out of the way.
5. That is why you wait until they move to shoot them.  ;)

Yes it is possible to roll through them.
And no, I didn't make the video tonight.  I went swimming and saw the bourne ultimatum, maybe tomorrow I will.  That was an amazing movie btw, if you like anything that has to do with espionage.

Dude... I can hear the spy change visions in a 5 meter radius around me. I can hear the spy do a back-to-wall while standing. I can pinpoint the bomb on any map. I can hear the spy going crouched in an approximate 10 meter radius. Now tell me that you would run there in greek and i'll laugh in your face.

PS - i don't have eax on, i just have put the sounds friggin loud.

2: Most mercs don't go to office when the disk is taken.

Some mercs will go to office + tech as an opening instead of the classic Greek + tech, but very rarely will a merc actually head toward office when they see the "disk has been stolen message". A hacking in progress is more likely to draw them, but even then a lot of mercs just ignore the office, as it's a great way to get yourself trapped in the sea tunnel.

Yeah, this is the biggest thing. Going to office when the disk is taken is stupid. The thing is that spies are faster than mercs and so when you go to office, spy needs to shock you once and then you're effectively out of position to stop him from delivering the disk. More than likely, what's going to happen with a good team is that one merc remains in greek, and the other one goes to the fish tank room to cover the drop off for the office disk.

Succubus Dryad Of The Undying Comet

lol i didn't know that the one on the stairs is possible  ::)
i always tried to do it while standing just next to the pillars there, and i always failed.

Farley4Fan

Try this.  Wait in Greek as a spy, and have your teammate go hack into the office.  See if when he starts hacking the merc will go through the tunnel and towards the office.  I usually do as well, being that I am close to the office and it takes spies long to hack that particular panel.

And invisibleman, why would a merc remain in Greek when there is a drop off in pirates?  More than likely, a merc will go to blue room and another will go into pirates.  When the mercs take these positions it gives you time to hack greek, blow up tech, or even crack one of their necks allowing your buddy to drop it off.  If you go fast enough, then you could take the disc in the tank and run back to the greek drop off because no merc is in either tech or greek at the time.  If you go quick enough, you may also be able to hack a few seconds off of Greek as well.

Succubus Dryad Of The Undying Comet

No wai - me and my m8 stay at our positions when teh spies take the office disk - in any case they will have to speed up, don't they? they have to hack the panel to drop the disk at the blue room and the panel can be easily sniped, so i wander arounfd the map/ camp at greek,  while my mate covers the drop points.
So i don't think that what you say is true and effective. Also, when i see that the spies hack the office panel i just close the tunnel door. Dunno why i do it but i feel safer when it's closed  :)

Farley4Fan

To tell you the truth that is pretty stupid.  If your merc that is all alone gets double teamed, then the objective will be taken.  He could be grabbed, he could be knocked out, and then they secure the disc.  I am sure that once he dies you would leave your post to see what happened.  Most mercs are easily drawn away from the greek room if you give them the right bait.
