Hmm the idea that i thought of that would be quite interesting to have is, Well.. Let me ask you this , has there ever been a time where you had one Annoying person in the lobby who doesn't know how to turn off their mic or in game music ?? .... well if that is  you, i believe there should be a selective mute button for Admins to be able to mute  that particular player in the lobby, rather then having everyone else suffer in game.. Discuss!  ;D

-Thanks Murdy for da Sig <3  xD

I feel that they will learn over time how to change their settings. They are probably really noob and you should just ask them to leave. Or...turn of the mics in lobby like CT allows.

Ultimately, we're at mercy of UT's own engine - right? If so, then we can only hope that they will allow each player an ability to mute disturbing players; in any other case, make it so.

Spekkio

Turning off voice chat in lobby the way it is in CT isn't really that big of an inconvenience.

For stuff outside the game, yes. But mic control does qualify for being inside the game so no.

Aren't the settings for speakers feeding back into the mic (when you don't even own a mic) at: Start->Accessories->Enterainment->Volume Control. In there: Properties->Recording->Mute All? I can see some people never learning that, I don't even remember how I know it...

Westfall

If the mic is a problem you should just be able to go in to the options menu of Project Stealth and disable it. The only thing is, I believe that you should still be able to hear the other player(s) if you turn your mic off, unlike CT which completely cuts off all audible communication.

If you don't know how to deal with your mic, then unplug the damn thing and figure it out later. You shouldn't just sit in lobby pissing every1 off because your mic/settings are lame. Or else...booted...simple as that.

And, on top of that, everyone could be given the ability to mute a specific player; Assuming there even can be voice in the lobby, let alone if it could be simply disabled, as Spekkio pointed out above

Gawain

enhancing the voip options sounds like a good thing to me. but there is an easier way to solve most problems: don't play with idiots.

Bionic-Blob

not to self: don't play with gawain

What? the pc version didn't have a mute option? Console did, I never found that to be much of a problem, you just select the from the players list and mute them.

Westfall

Interesting that the PC version doesn't have that option. Just shows you how kind UBI is to us compared to the console players.

Farley4Fan

Dude, you guys can program triple nades to one single key.  I guess each version has its own little perks, strange, they should all have the same perks or it makes it unfair in my opinion.  Why doesn't PC?  Ubi smokes Doobies.  ;D

Well not really, the one key triple nade is the result of some kind of macro program that runs an action script. So you press one key, a third party program simulates you pressing the appropriate keys to triple nade, and CT interprets it as though you actually pressed the keys. It's not actually an integral feature to CT. It's more or less a non-invasive sort of hack.

Farley4Fan

Ok, I gotcha.  But really, you can't do anything like that at all on console.

Westfall

Triple nades don't really work anymore. If you're trying to aggro they are your best friend but lets face it, who doesn't know how to work around it (aside from the new generation starting to play the game).
