I THOUGHT BUT IT DOESNT MATTER CUZ OSAMA BIN LADEN HAS BEEN KILLED BY US FORCES IN AFGHANISTAN BABY
It's a happy day, silver tuna tonight.
It may be a more symbolic thing than crippling to Al Qaeda as they have much more active leaders in their group today, but this is great news. Think of all the 9/11 victims and their families that will feel this. Obviously it won't bring back their loved ones but I'm sure that knowing that the mastermind behind the biggest terrorist attack in U.S. history, that took the lives of their friends and family, brings satisfaction. The relief is felt by all Americans, be sure of that.
However it might be very touching for americans, I think you should take into account what his death might cause. What fractions will move and continue the plan of the "mastermind". I hail your happiness and peace with you but I am still curious about the whole thing.
I cannot say anything about the victims of 9/11. I hope they managed to find their way through life, that's all.
your trolling so hard right now thats for sure Farley,
but truth is binladen has been dead for a long time and also why they kill binladen when the fact is
they had times with the bush family.. Binladen is like bush's buddy.
Finally heres proof that hes been murdered a lonnnnng time ago :

The goal in afghanistan is to splinter and destroy the al qaeda network. Incredibly tough stuff. It may get harder after this with insurgents going crazy. Let me tell you this: huge morale boost for our troops. You think the security in US airports were bad before? The next few months the house will be on lock, and other countries will undoubtedly do the same.
My friends and i got fucked up on a sunday night. It gave us an excuse to drink and smoke if nothing else lol

Lol.
I know the US and Bin Laden have a history.
People look for conspiracies no matter what, no matter when, the situation. As soon as 9/11 happened, INSIDE JOB! When Osama manhunt starts to look like an impossible goose chase, HE'S DEAD ALREADY!! When it is announced he has been killed, HE WAS DEAD A LONG TIME AGO OR I MEAN ERRR HE'S STILL ALIVE!!
Please, I've heard the dots but only some people are dumb enough to connect them.
As well as, if he was dead why the hell did people still mention about Bin Laden's "healthy living" before the final video came out? Hmmm?

Bin Laden is martyr. There will be many Mulims who will carry on his ideals and maybe even be more radical than he was. At least when he was alive his followers would do what he told them. Now they have nobody to reign them in and they may be capable of doing worse things in the name of Osama. You can't fight people who believe they have the religious right to do terrorist acts. It may be a good thing he is dead but it may also be like poking a stick in a badger hole.
Great, you just made Bin Laden sound like the Lich King.
"Without the master's command...the restless Scourge will become even greater threat to this world. Control must be maintained. There must ALWAYS be.....a LICH KING!"
<Thunder>
"The weight of such a burden...must be mine...there is no oth--
"TIRION! You hold a grim destiny in your hands! But it is not your own!
"Bolvar!...By all that's holy."
"The dragon's flame...is sealing my fate....the world of the living....can no longer comfort me...Place the crown upon my head Tirion...forever more, I will be the jailer of the damned!"
"No, old friend. I cannot do it.."
"DO IT TIRION! You and your brave heroes have your own destinies to fulfill...This last act of service...is mine!"
"You will not be forgotten...brother."
"I must be forgotten Tirion! If the world is to live free from the tyranny of fear, they must never know of what was done here today!"
*Tirion nods*
*Places the crown onto Bolvar's head*
"Tell all of them....that the Lich King is dead...and that the Bolvar Fordragon.....died WITH HIM! NOW GO, LEAVE THIS PLACE AND NEVER RETURN!"

I heard there's an military compound in abbottabad from pakistani military. Even most of the civilians who live there are ex-militants. Wonder if they were involved in keeping Osama's hideout hidden for that long.
To religious ideals he is much more powerful than the Lich King.

and isn't it ironic that this is all happening around the time of federal elections =/ ?

@Dwarf, this definitely strains the relationship between Pakistan and the US, and you can bet on the military funding given by the US to Pakistan will stop. Seriously pakistan? 100 yards away from your country's equivalent of Westpoint Academy? Those are the kind of dots that should be connected.

There are no federal elections going on, and I don't think of Obama any higher than I used to. You don't think McCain would have Ok'd the mission? Anyone would have, I don't understand why people would all of a sudden love Obama. Much bigger problems he has yet to solve or even soften.
The U.S. would've never been able to do this without their help. As soon as you had all the information needed you took over and killed that nugget. But the Pakistani military played a huge part in this.
lol... seems no one gets that he worked for the CIA once before becoming the terrorist leader. (At least he was provided by them)

I have heard nothing that says the pakistani military helped with this mission or provided any intelligence about his whereabouts whatsoever. IN FACT, all I have heard is that the former ruler of the pakistani military is glad we killed him, but it is a violation by the US for going in without informing the Pakistani govt first. So obviously they did nothing to help with his capture, and it was a football field away from one of their biggest military posts. No credit goes to his Pakistan for his capture, and eyebrows should be raised about the role they may have played in hiding him.

The pakistani would probably screw over the mission seeing abbottabad would be full of spies. Including militants and ex-militants. So really they should just suck it up.
The thing that irks me the most is why they threw his body into the ocean. If that is true anyway. A muslim needs to be buried/sea men's graved an XX hours after his death. Obama said Bin Laden was not a muslim so why did they give him a muslimic burial?
Yeah, I would never tell Pakistan. Especially when it became so obvious that they may have hid him themselves (even if it was a select few in the pakistani govt/military). It could compromise the whole mission.
Recent articles say that they have trained for this mission for months. They built a replica to practice the raid in February iirc...
The fact that they would do this so bluntly but without Pakistan knowing tells me that this really was Osama. The fact they would strain relations that are already so delicate tell me that this was a high value target, and not an elaborate facade to trick the American people/the world into thinking we got him. If they wanted to fake it, they would have just said they found him in a cave in Afghanistan. But to do it like this, with so much preparation and secrecy (secret to both Pakistan and the American people), it has to be true.
Your relationship with Pakistan isn't the best from begin with. They're obviously not happy about the fact you ran this mission without telling themâ€"even if that was crucial to the success of the killing. However, that's not going to strain the relationship even more. They U.S. knew he was in there for a long time.
Even Obama gave them credit last night, "it is important to note that our counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan helped lead us to to Bin Laden, and the compound where he was hiding."

Dude, you have no idea. These aren't vikings we are sending to Iraq. 1 or 2 reported cases of rape and all of a sudden our troops are rapists and pillagers? We don't tolerate that shit in our military. We are spending billions to help Iraq rebuild. We hold meetings with the leaders of their communities every single day and listen to their concerns. It's no mystery that the middle east is an important part of the world. However, we were provoked. 9/11 was not an inside job, no matter what the lunatic conspiracy theorists out there WANT to believe. You know how it is. When you WANT to see it, you see it. Either you make shit up to support your claims or you loosely form it around some separate pieces of info that shouldn't be connected.
And now the man responsible (if you could place blame on 1 singular person for this event) has been killed. It is a decisively positive day for the US and the world. You know we don't have many of those.

Naive is thinking you did all by yourself. Plus, cooperation could also mean just tolerating what you are doing on their soil. Even if he's number 1 on YOUR listâ€"it still doesn't give you the right to just fly in there, kill a bunch of people and get back out of there without any trouble. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's dead but you're lucky they didn't shoot down your helicopters. But then a brief "thank you" on their cooperation would have been enough in Obama's speech. Everyone just be glad he's dead, okay?
PS - Coincidence that Hitler and Bin Laden were both declared dead on the first of May?
Bind Laden, master of hide and seek, 2001-2011 not bad huh ?
sam fisher and chuck norris were part of the team that killed Bin Laden.
oh and
BTW:
in German "bin" means "am" like in "I AM playing scct now"
and "Laden" means shop
if you add the word "im" [ger for "in(side) the..."] to it, you get the German sentence "Osama! Bin im Laden!" and that would mean translated "Osama! I am inside the shop!"

QuoteYour holy US soldiers can kill all family, rape doughter and finally burn house with smile on face.
It's interesting how people can easily dehuminize Soldiers. Whether you want to believe it or not, the Soldiers and Marines fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan are real people who grew up with normal societal values. They aren't crazed murderers looking to rape women and children and burn down houses, just like your Polish conscripts in WWII weren't crazed murderers who wanted nothing more than to perform scientific experiments on Jews.
Unfortunately, civilian casualties are a part of war, and will continue to be until you can invent magic homing bullets that only seek people with guns pointed at you. It doesn't help that women and children are responsible for ambushing and killing many of our troops. But our country even went so far as to ban airstrikes about a year and a half ago in Iraq to cut down on civilian casualties, even though it made US casualties rise by over 80%. So, again, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, other than anti-American tabloids and conspiracy websites who take the stories of the few bad apples and extrapolate it to the entire organization.

The fact is, we'll never really know if Pakistan cooperated and, if they did, to what extent. Pakistan has a vested interest in hedging the anti-American Muslim population, and their cooperation with American military forces could compromise their popularity or influence within the region. What we know is that Pakistan is publicly denouncing the US for violating its sovereign borders, and Bin Laden was 'hiding' within Pakistan's borders for a long time. But the US also knew where he was long before we carried out the operation.
There very easily could have been some under-the-table negotiations between Pakistan and the US. But the bottom line is that we got him, and I think at the end of the day both countries are glad he's gone. The political grandstanding is just that, and in the end we'll all move on with life.
Well said.
I second that, or triple that. Whatevs. Well said spek.
I just watched downfall, so I'm waiting for the inevitable movie. Maybe this was all one big ploy by the movie industry to have a topic for the next big movie. This website says it was, so it probably was.
*That new bin laden vid shows Bin laden alive and well, enjoying a nice bowl of Cap'n Crunch, long after he "died". gg?
PS everytime I hear the phrase "enhanced interrogation," I get the urge to torture a baby.
enhanced interrogation
Wedge issues... allowing American politicians to dodge accountability since 1776.

Yeah, I'm so smart on the subject, now listen to this guy ---->>>
Seriously Agent?
I watched the whole thing. At least from the point you linked to the very end. I guess I missed the "proof" part.
where i linked it starts half way for some reason , you need to start it from the beggining to see everything
For some reason, it doens't change the fact that there is no proof of anything...More like a crappy propaganda.
